For Fr. Victor, prayer begins with stillness: “Be still and know that I am God.” His reflections on the prayer of silence and the ritual of awareness remind us to listen, observe and remain fully present—to God and to life—even while embracing the gentle art of nothingness. 🙏🏼🕊️✨

On the 80th Independence Day of our beloved country, India, the Bombay Catholic Sabha - IC Unit organised the Hoisting of the National Flag at the august hands of our Chief Guest Rev. Fr. Victor Louis and in the presence of our Parish Priest and Spiritual Director of the BCS, Rev. Fr. Henry D'souza.

Fr. Victor spoke on the rich and varied diversity of our country and the urgent and continuing need to protect our hard won freedoms.

Recalling the freedom struggle, he reminded us of the efforts of various ordinary people from accross the country, including brave men and women from our own Christian community and it's various cultural backgrounds, reflective of the diversity of our nation.

Our belongingness and rootedness in our nation is ours to claim, unconditionally.

On this momentous occasion, Fr. Henry D'souza also launched the social media presence of the Bombay Catholic Sabha - IC unit.

We wish all our parishioners a happy and joyous independence day! 🇮🇳

Rooted in the soil, sustained by tradition. 🌾

On Sunday, 12 July, parishioners gathered at the Concessao Grounds for paddy planting. Following prayers led by Fr Ivan Kamble, young and old stepped into the field together - sharing in the work of their hands, the joy of community and a deep respect for the land.

The occasion honoured farming as an age-old cultural practice and the traditional occupations that have sustained communities across generations. May every seedling planted strengthen our appreciation for the dignity of labour and the heritage we pass on. 🌱

Every drop, a promise of hope. Every donor, a gift of life. ❤️

The Blood Donation Drive held at Pope Paul VI Hall on Sunday, 12 July 2026, received an overwhelming response. It was especially inspiring to see so many youth and young adults step forward with generous hearts, their selfless acts reflecting the true spirit of compassion, unity and love.

Organised by the IC Healthcare Centre, in collaboration with the Borivali Blood Centre, the drive reminded us that when a community comes together in service, hope flows, lives are touched and humanity shines.

Our heartfelt gratitude to every donor, our Parish Clergy, the medical team and all the volunteers who made this initiative possible. ✨
