There are moments in devotion when the heart sees something that the intellect cannot fully explain.
A vigraha is sculpted by human hands, illuminated by lamps, adorned with flowers and ornaments. Scientifically, one may say that the eyes appearing alive is merely the play of light, shadow, angle, and reflection. Yet the question remains — why does that arrangement of light suddenly awaken such emotion within the devotee? Why does the heart instantly feel, “Maa is looking at me”?
Because Divine Grace often works through the ordinary.
Bhagwati does not always descend by breaking the laws of nature. She reveals Herself through them. A certain flicker of light… a sudden expression upon the vigraha… eyes that seem moist with compassion… these become mediums through which the Mother touches the soul of Her child.
When one looks deeply into the eyes of Bhagwati in this divine form, they no longer appear as lifeless stone. There is warmth. There is awareness. There is tenderness. It feels as though Maa herself is silently watching every pain, every prayer, every unspoken emotion of Her devotee with immeasurable love.
For a non-devotee, it may simply be coincidence.
For a bhakta, it becomes darshan.

The Divine Mother is called Bhava Grahini — She who accepts and responds to the feeling of the devotee. When devotion becomes intense, consciousness begins to reflect through the vigraha itself. The eyes appear alive because the devotee’s heart has become alive in Her presence.

In those eyes there is no judgement.
Only compassion.
Only assurance.
Only the silent message of a Mother saying:
“Child… I am watching over you.”

This year, an extremely rare and spiritually powerful confluence is taking place. After nearly 13 years, Shani Amavasya and Shani Jayanti are occurring on the same sacred day, making this occasion exceptionally potent for karmic cleansing, spiritual upliftment, protection from negativity, and blessings of stability and justice.

Lord Shani is the divine dispenser of Karma. Through sincere prayer, humility, seva, and daan, one can seek relief from suffering, obstacles, debts, illnesses, mental distress, and the unseen burdens carried through karma.

May this rare and powerful Shani Amavasya bring peace, protection, karmic purification, and divine grace to all.

Mahatripurasundari VishwaMohini — The Divine Union of Consciousness and Power
In the sublime philosophy of Shaktism, the deepest expression of the union between consciousness and cosmic energy is revealed through Tripura Sundari, also revered as Mahatripurasundari,VishwaMohini, the Supreme Goddess of the Sri Vidya tradition.
Mahatripurasundari is not merely a goddess among other deities; she is the very embodiment of the ultimate reality where Shiva and Shakti exist in perfect unity.
In sacred iconography, the Divine Mother is often depicted seated upon Shiva, who lies as the still foundation beneath her. Shiva here represents pure consciousness—silent, unmoving, eternal awareness that pervades everything yet remains untouched by the movements of the universe.
Mahatripurasundari, seated upon Him, represents the Supreme Shakti, the dynamic force that manifests the entire cosmos.
Bhagwati reveals a profound metaphysical truth.
Shiva is Chit — pure awareness.
Shakti is Shakti — the power of manifestation.
From the still ocean of Shiva-consciousness arises the divine vibration that becomes creation. That vibration is Mahatripurasundari herself.
In the deeper symbolism of Sri Chakra, which is the geometric form of the Goddess, this union is beautifully encoded. The upward triangles represent Shiva, the principle of consciousness, while the downward triangles represent Shakti, the principle of manifestation. Their interpenetration symbolizes the eternal embrace of awareness and power from which the universe emerges.
Mahatripurasundari is therefore the sovereign of the three worlds—Tripura:
the world of waking, the world of dream, and the world of deep sleep. Beyond these three states she shines as the fourth transcendental reality, the supreme consciousness itself.

Shākambharī Navrātri at VishwaMohini Devasthān
(28 December 2025 – 3 January 2026)
Shākambharī Navrātri commemorates the compassionate descent of the Divine Mother who nourished the worlds during a time of great drought and spiritual decline. As described in the Purāṇas, when the demon Durgam usurped the fruits of all yajñas and the Vedas were lost, rains ceased for a hundred years and the earth was plunged into suffering. Moved by the intense prayers of the Ṛṣis, the Divine Mother manifested as Bhagavatī Shākambharī, shedding tears of compassion that restored rainfall and bringing forth grains, fruits, vegetables, and healing herbs to sustain all life. She ultimately destroyed Durgam, reclaimed the Vedas, and re-established dharma, peace, and prosperity.
From 28 December 2025 to 3 January 2026, Shākambharī Navrātri is observed as Gupta Navrātri, a sacred and inward-focused period of immense spiritual potency. Sādhana performed during this time yields accelerated results, helping remove inner dryness, obstacles, and stagnation while nurturing spiritual growth, clarity, and abundance.
The VishwaMohini Devasthān invites all devotees and sādhakas to participate in this auspicious Navrātri and receive the grace of the Mother who nourishes, protects, and restores balance in all realms.
