John Paul II love for intellectual topics and with Gods gift of understanding the Bible he gave the world the theology of the body which the world is in desperate need of.

Are we attending Sunday Mass & sitting for personal prayer with a genuine desire to connect with Him?
Or are we just following the social norm and doing it because we 'have to'?

Prayer is not just a ritual or set of actions to perform, but rather a relationship with God that is built on sincerity, truth, and a genuine desire to connect with Him. It involves seeking a deeper connection with God, being honest about our feelings and desires, and giving ourselve wholly to Him.

Carlo Acutis was an Italian computer programmer and devout Catholic known for his strong faith and love for the Eucharist. He taught himself coding by the age of 11, but also studied the lives of the saints and attended Mass. Carlo started a website documenting Eucharistic miracles and traveled to visit sites where these miracles had occurred. Sadly, Carlo was diagnosed with leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15, but he continued to attend Mass and receive the Eucharist as often as possible. He passed away on October 12, 2006. Carlo's life and devotion continue to inspire Catholics, and he is known as the "patron saint of the internet".

The very term Eucharist is derived from the Greek word eucharistein, which means “thanksgiving.” This word is used in the New Testament in a way that recalls “the Jewish blessings that proclaim—especially during a meal—God’s works: creation, redemption, and sanctification” (CCC 1328; see Luke 22:19 and 1 Corinthians 11:24). This sacrament is called the Eucharist precisely because it is a thanksgiving offered to God for these gifts. The Sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist is “the source and summit of the Christian life” (Lumen Gentium 11; CCC 1324), and as such, it is the highest form of thanksgiving that we can offer.
