Aradhane of Sri Ramachandra Theertha Sripadanglavaru

Sri Ramachandra Theertha Sripadanglavaru took Sanyasa Ashrama from Sri Gopalaswamy Theertha Sripadanglavaru of the Sripadaraja Matha Parampare in 1620 AD. He was widely revered for his extraordinary Tapo Shakti, Yoga Shakti, and Mantra Shakti.

He was a contemporary (Samakaaleenaru) of great saints such as Sri Raghavendra Swamy of Mantralaya (Sri Rayaru), Sri Vidhyadheesha Theertha Sripadanglavaru, and Sri Krishna Dwaipayana Theertha Sripadanglavaru.

Sri Ramachandra Theertha Sripadanglavaru undertook extensive Sanchara (spiritual travels) throughout the region of Andhra. During this period, he made Penugonda his working center and guided the chieftain of Penugonda, helping him in the righteous performance of his political and administrative duties.

For his daily Ahnika, Sri Swamiji used to go early in the morning to the sacred Brahma Sarovara situated at the top of Brahmagiri Hill. It is believed that the entire hill carries the divine Amsha of Sri Pranadevaru. With his immense Yoga Shakti, Sri Swamiji would sit on a plantain leaf and mystically travel to the top of the hill to perform his sacred rituals.

Whenever he stepped out of the mutt—for Ahnika, Biksha, or other religious rites—he would place his Danda near the Samsthana box containing the deities and perform Abhimantrana for divine protection and vigilance.

Because of this powerful spiritual practice and the authority of his sacred Danda, he came to be known as “Uddanda Ramachandra Theertha Sripadanglavaru.”

It was a wonderful and blessed occasion to have the darshan of the Paduke of Parama Gurugalu, Sri Medhanidhi Theertha Sripadangalavaru. These sacred Padukes are preserved with great devotion and reverence in the house of a devotee in Hospet.

In the past, Sri Medhanidhi Theertha Sripadangalavaru had performed chaturmasya sacred rituals at this very devotee’s house, and since then the family has carefully preserved the Padukes with deep faith, respect, and devotion.

On this auspicious occasion, Sri Sujayanidhi Theertha Sripadangalavaru performed Paduke Pooja to the sacred Padukes of his Parama Gurugalu and blessed all the devotees present.

Sri Vyasaraja Gurusarvabhoumara 487th Uttararadhana Mahotsava .

On this auspicious occasion of Sri Vyasaraja Gurusarvabhoumara 487th Uttararadhana Mahotsava , the Samsthana Pooja and Panchamrutha Abhisekha was performed by Sri Sujayanidhi Theertha Sripadangalavaru of Sripadaraja Math, along with Sri Vidyaseesha Theertha Sripadangalavaru of Vyasaraja Math. The presence of both revered Swamijis made the ceremony spiritually significant for all the devotees who had gathered.

The Samsthana Pooja was conducted in a highly sacred atmosphere near the holy Brindavanas of Sri Padmanabha Theertha and Sri Vyasaraja Theertha. These Brindavanas are revered by devotees as powerful spiritual centers, and performing the pooja at this holy location added great sanctity to the event.

Padayatra 2026, from Mudalabagilu to Vaikuntana Bagilu, commenced on 17th February amidst the sacred chants and soulful Dāsara Padagalu. With hearts filled with joy and devotion, Hari Bhaktas proceeded towards the abode of Vaikuntapathi, seeking divine grace and strength under the blessings of Sri Sujayanidhi Teertha Sripadangalavaru.

Though a few Hari Bhaktas were unable to physically participate in the Padayatra, their heartfelt wishes and prayers accompanied the devotees throughout the sacred journey.

By the boundless grace of Sripadarajaru and the blessings of the Swamiji, the Padayatra was fulfilled with spiritual bliss. As the journey concluded, many devotees expressed, “Padayatra mugitha avagle,” reflecting how swiftly the time passed in divine immersion. Despite physical exertion, elderly devotees remained mentally strong and enthusiastically expressed readiness for the next year’s Padayatra.

Walking barefoot, as has been the revered tradition for decades, Swamiji graced the Padayatra with a divine smile, blessing all devotees along the way. Swamiji offered heartfelt prayers to Lord Srinivasa, seeking health, wealth, and prosperity for all Hari Bhaktas.

The Padayatra concluded with Samarpane at the sacred footsteps of Srivari Metlu.
Sri Sripadaraja Math extends its best wishes to all devotees for a safe and happy return journey to their respective destinations.

During the holy visit, Sri Swamiji performed Samsthana Pooja and graciously blessed the assembled devotees, filling the atmosphere with devotion and spiritual fervor.
