മുളന്തുരുത്തി: പരിശുദ്ധ യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ ബെംഗളൂരു ഭദ്രാസനത്തിന്റെ മുൻ മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്തായായിരുന്ന പുണ്യശ്ലോകനായ മോർ ഒസ്താത്തിയോസ് പത്രോസ് മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്തായുടെ നാലാം ശ്രാദ്ധ പെരുന്നാൾ ഉദയഗിരി എം.എസ്.ഒ.ടി. വൈദിക സെമിനാരിയിൽ ഭക്തിനിർഭരമായി ആചരിച്ചു.
പിതാവ് കബറടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന സെമിനാരിയിലെ സെന്റ് എഫ്രേം ചാപ്പലിൽ ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 20-ന് രാവിലെ 8 മണിക്ക് നടത്തപ്പെട്ട വി. കുർബാനയ്ക്ക് ബെംഗളൂരു, മൈലാപ്പൂർ, UK, ഭദ്രാസനാധിപൻ അഭി. മോർ ഒസ്താത്തിയോസ് ഐസക്ക് മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്ത മുഖ്യ കാർമ്മികത്വം വഹിച്ചു.

സെമിനാരിയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് & റെസിഡന്റ് മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്ത, അഭി. ഡോ. മോർ തെയോഫിലോസ് കുര്യാക്കോസ് മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്ത അനുസ്മരണ പ്രഭാഷണം നടത്തി. വീട്ടൂർ ദയറാധിപൻ അഭി. മോർ തീമോത്തിയോസ് മാത്യൂസ് മെത്രാപ്പൊലീത്ത സന്നിഹിതനായിരുന്നു.

തുടര്‍ന്ന് അഭിവന്ദ്യ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ തിരുമേനിയുടെ കബറിങ്കൽ ധൂപപ്രാർത്ഥന നടത്തി.

Three representatives from MSOTS, Udayagiri - Dn. Basil Sabu (Final Year), Mr. Pristo Paul, and Mr. Ibin Abraham Varghese (Third Year) - participated in the NCCI School of Ecumenism in Nagpur from August 12-16, 2026.

Focus: Theological reflection, youth leadership, and inter-church dialogue.

Key Activities: Presented our Syriac Christian heritage, explored India’s religious diversity (including Deekshabhoomi), and experienced Eucharistic fellowship by sharing our liturgy with participants from other traditions at St. George Jacobite Church, Nagpur

Cultural Night: Showcased Kerala’s heritage with a traditional Pookalam, songs, and local snacks (Jackfruit Fry & Sharkaravaratti).

MSOTS 2026–27 Academic Year Lecture Series - II

The Malankara Syrian Orthodox Theological Seminary (MSOTS), Udayagiri, hosted the second lecture of its 2026–27 Academic Year Lecture Series on 17 August 2026 at the MSOTS Conference Hall.

The lecture, titled “Sabda Pramana in Indian Philosophy and its Relevance in Indian Biblical Hermeneutics,” was delivered by Rev. Dr. Giri Krishnan, HOD and Professor of Religion at Gurukul Lutheran Theological College and Research Institute.

The programme commenced with the inaugural address by H.E. Dr. Mor Theophilose Kuriakose Metropolitan.

The lecture offered an enriching exploration of Indian philosophical thought and its significance for understanding and interpreting the Biblical text within the Indian context.

ഉദയഗിരി വൈദിക സെമിനാരിയിൽ രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു

*മുളന്തുരുത്തി* : പരിശുദ്ധ യാക്കോബായ സുറിയാനി സഭയുടെ മലങ്കര സിറിയൻ ഓർത്തഡോക്സ് തിയോളജിക്കൽ സെമിനാരിയിൽ (ഉദയഗിരി വൈദിക സെമിനാരി) രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പ് സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. എം.എസ്.ഒ.ടി. സെമിനാരി, ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സിറിയൻ ഡോക്ടേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷൻ ( ISMA) ഇന്ത്യൻ മെഡിക്കൽ അസോസിയേഷൻ(IMA), എന്നിവയുടെ സംയുക്താഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 14 വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 9:30 മുതലാണ് ക്യാമ്പ് നടത്തപ്പെട്ടത്.

വൈദിക സെമിനാരി റെസിഡന്റ് & പ്രസിഡന്റ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്തായും, ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സിറിയക്ക് ഡോക്ടേഴ്സ് അസോസിയേഷന്റെ പ്രസിഡന്റുമായ ഡോ. കുര്യാക്കോസ് മോർ തെയോഫിലോസ് മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത തിരുമനസ്സ് ക്യാമ്പിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു. മാനവരാശിയുടെ നന്മയ്ക്കായി രക്തദാനം പോലെയുള്ള പ്രതിബദ്ധതയുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കാളികളാകേണ്ടത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയെകുറിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹം സന്ദേശത്തിൽ ഓർമിപ്പിച്ചു. വൈദിക സെമിനാരി ഹോസ്റ്റൽ വാർഡൻ ഫാ. പൗലോസ് തെക്കൻ ചടങ്ങിൽ സ്വാഗതം ആശംസിച്ചു. ISMA എക്സിക്യൂട്ടീവ് മെമ്പർ Dr. ജോർജ് ഫിലിപ്പ്, IMA പ്രതിനിധി, Dr. മുഹമ്മദ് ഷഫീഖ് എന്നിവരും ആശംസകൾ നേർന്നു.

സെമിനാരി പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഫാ. ഡോ. ആദായി ജേക്കബ് കോറെപ്പിസ്കോപ്പ, ഫാ. രാജു കൊളാപ്പുറത്ത് കോറെപ്പിസ്കോപ്പ, ഫാ. ദാനിയേൽ തട്ടാറായിൽ, ഫാ. ബിജു പാറേക്കാട്ടിൽ എന്നീ വൈദികരും ഐ.എം.എ., ISMA ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി Dr. സിവി പുലയത്ത് എന്നിവരും ക്യാമ്പിൽ സംബന്ധിച്ചു.

ഐ.എം.എ.-യുടെ വിദഗ്ദ്ധ മെഡിക്കൽ സംഘമാണ് രക്തദാന ക്യാമ്പിന് നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയത്. സെമിനാരിയിലെ വൈദികരും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും സ്റ്റാഫ് അംഗങ്ങളും ക്യാമ്പിൽ പങ്കാളികളായി രക്തദാനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു.

“കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ വഹിച്ച മരം”

കുഞ്ഞാടിനെ വഹിച്ച മരത്തിൽ സഭാപിതാക്കന്മാർ പരിശുദ്ധ ദൈവമാതാവിന്റെ മുൻനിഴൽ ദർശിക്കുന്നു. മരത്തിൽ കുഞ്ഞാട് പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ, പരിശുദ്ധ കന്യകയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ ലോകത്തിന്റെ രക്ഷകനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞാട് — ക്രിസ്തു വസിച്ചു. അവളിലൂടെ ലോകത്തിലേക്ക് വന്ന ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ നമുക്ക് രക്ഷയും ജീവനും പ്രത്യാശയും ലഭിച്ചു.. ✨✝️
