एक गाँव में एक बढ़ई (carpenter) था। वह लकड़ी के टुकड़ों को उठाता, उन्हें तराशता, और उनसे खूबसूरत चीज़ें बनाता—कभी कुर्सी, कभी दरवाज़ा, कभी सजावट की वस्तु।
एक दिन एक टूटा-फूटा लकड़ी का टुकड़ा कोने में पड़ा था। वह सोच रहा था,
“मैं किसी काम का नहीं हूँ… मुझे तो फेंक दिया जाएगा।”
लेकिन बढ़ई ने उसे उठाया, साफ किया, तराशा, और धीरे-धीरे उसे एक सुंदर मेज बना दिया। अब वही लकड़ी सबके काम आ रही थी।
👉 सीख (Message):
वैसे ही परमेश्वर ने हमें बनाया है। हम कोई गलती नहीं हैं।
हम उसकी “कारीगरी” (workmanship) हैं—और उसने पहले से अच्छे काम हमारे लिए तैयार किए हैं।
✨ सरल शब्दों में:
“हम परमेश्वर की बनाई हुई रचना हैं, ताकि हम अच्छे काम करें, जो उसने पहले से हमारे लिए तैयार किए हैं।”

यह न कहना, “बीते दिन इनसे क्यों उत्तम थे?”क्योंकि यह तू बुद्धिमानी से नहीं पूछता।सभोपदेशक 7.10

प्रार्थना का घर
उसने कहा—
“मेरा घर प्रार्थना का घर कहलाएगा,”
पर हमने शोर से भर दिया
उस पवित्र सन्नाटे को
जहाँ आँसू भी सुने जाते थे।
दीवारें नहीं,
दिल चाहिए उसे,
जहाँ टूटन हो,
पर पश्चाताप भी हो।
वहाँ कोई सौदा नहीं,
कोई दिखावा नहीं,
बस झुका हुआ सिर
और उठे हुए हाथ।
जब हम चुप होते हैं,
तब स्वर्ग बोलता है,
और जब हम झुकते हैं,
तब अनुग्रह उतरता है।
हे प्रभु,
हमारे भीतर फिर से बना दे
वह घर—
जो केवल तेरा हो,
सचमुच प्रार्थना का घर।
