या श्री: स्वयं सुकृतिनां भवनेष्व लक्ष्मी:,
पापात्मना कृतधियाँ हृदयेषु बुद्धि:।
श्रद्धा सतां कुलजन प्रभवस्य लज्जा,
तां त्वां नता: स्म परिपालय देविविश्वम॥

अर्थात जो पुण्यात्माओ के घरो में स्वयं श्री लक्षमी के रूप में, पापियो के यहाँ दरिद्रता रूप में, शुद्ध अंत:करण वाले व्यक्तियों के हृदय मे सदबुद्धि रूप में, सतपुरूषो में श्रद्धा रूप में, कुलीन व्यक्तियों मे लज्जा रूप मे निवास करती है। उसी भगवती दुर्गा को हम सभी नमस्कार करते है। हे देवी आप ही विश्व का पालन पोषण कीजिये।

Hartalika Teej is a sacred Hindu festival celebrated by women with immense devotion on the third day of the bright fortnight in the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. On this auspicious day, women observe a strict fast—often without food or water—to honor Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. According to Hindu mythology, the festival gets its name from 'Harit' (abducted) and 'Alika' (friends), recalling how Goddess Parvati's friends hid her in a dense forest so she could perform penance and marry Lord Shiva instead of Lord Vishnu. While married women fast for the longevity, health, and prosperity of their husbands, unmarried women pray to blissfully attain a compatible life partner.
