1) Do No Assume You Know It All
Just because you've read the Bible, maybe even a few times, doesn't mean you know it all. The Bible is like a gold mine. The more you search and research, the more you'll discover. The more committed you are, the more God can reveal to you.

2) Do Not Assume All Preachers Know It All
{Acts 17:11} It is human to make mistakes. Always double check back with the Word. For God and God alone is right all the time.

3) Do Not Assume All Will Enter God's Kingdom
There are many that will only see the goodness of God, but will not enter the kingdom of God to receive His goodness. {Matt 7:21-23} To see the kingdom of God, one has to be delivered from the kingdom of darkness; but to enter the kingdom of God, one has to enter into the kingdom of light.

1. Beware of Assumptions

Do not assume that you’re done growing. There is always room for growth.

- Philippians 1:9
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.

* Do not assume Growth is finite

- Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

Growth is for a lifetime. Press on, continue to move forward in a steady and forceful way, endure the race in good faith.

- John 8:32
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

Emotional and Spiritual growth are interconnected. Your spiritual growth will reflect on your life.

2. Do not assume Salvation is cheap

Salvation maybe free, but it came at a price and Christ paid it all.

- Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -

* Salvation is unforgettable

- Job 11:17
Life will be brighter than noonday, and darkness will become like morning.

Salvation is a personal activity and it will renew your mind and soul.

- 2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

{2 Tim 4:7-8} Jesus is at the beginning and will be there at the end. He did not come to teach competition, but to teach compassion. Run with the conviction that God is faithful to bring you victoriously through this race of life {Phil 1:6}.

1) Be Prepared - For what is going to come.

2) Implement - All that God has taught/is teaching you

3) Correct - Correct yourself when you fall, pick yourself up and continue to run.

Be Humble.

Philippians 2:6-8 says,
Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage. But, He humbled himself to take on human flesh, and was obedient even unto death.

Saul however, though from humble roots, succumbed to the pride which came with his position of power. This ego eventually lead to his downfall because,

• Ego is irrational.
• Ego is disobedient.
• Ego is unnatural.
• Ego stops growth.

And when growth comes to an end, success comes to an end.
When success comes to an end, we're likely to get lost.
When we get lost, our history comes to an end.

But, before our history ends, it's our duty to establish good deeds to be remembered by, unlike Saul who was remembered for his self inflicted wrongdoings. We are called to put aside our pride and reflect Jesus' humility in our lives.

~Jealousy Blinds Our Soul~
{1 Sam 10:7-9} Saul developed jealousy of David's popularity. But Saul's jealousy feared loss of admiration of his people. Though in fact, people didn't take anything away from Saul. But the spirit of comparison fed into Saul's jealousy. All of Saul's conspiracies that he plotted against David turned into something positive for David. David trusted in God and not in himself or his abilities. The more he trusted in God, the most his confidence grew. God showed no partiality between Saul and David, He lifted them both up from their low estates and anointed both of them. But Saul was jealous of David's prosperity, though David waited nearly 20 years before he ascended the throne. Remember, our promotion solely comes from the Lord.

To care is to be compassionate towards someone. Caring is not limited to offering assistance or buying presents, it can even be in the form of emotional attachments or being there for them when they need someone. These simple acts of love can create a huge difference in the receiver's life.

As Christians we are called to love our neighbours unconditionally. We, being made in God's likeness, were made to love like our selfless God. We must love not just to show others how much we value them, but to be ambassadors of Christ to them. Our actions become tangible testimonies of our beliefs.

In Luke 10:25-37, Jesus talks about the Good Samaritan, who helped the Jew without a second thought. We too must care without bias, irrespective of their caste, colour, gender or creed. We must value being humane over all else.

Lastly, caring for others does not mean neglecting yourself, because you can do unto others, only what you do to yourself. So start by learning to care for yourself, so that you will be able to care for others better.

Know Your God, Believe In God
1) Know The God Whom You Believe In
If God is your father, where is His honour? When God said go, Abraham went, not questioning God or distrusting Him. He believed.
2) Believe In The God Whom You Know
The Bible takes it for granted that God doesn't need to be proven. Believing in God is the invisible force behind our behaviour.
~demonic faith~
{James 2:19} Demons aren't happy at the sight of Jesus, but they acknowledge who He is.
~dead faith~
{James 2:26} If your faith doesn't have life, it's useless. Bury your dead faith for dead faith exchanges words for actions.
~divine faith~
Walk an extra mile with God {2 Cor 4:8-9}. Trust and entrust your life in His hands.

Glory to God
{Luke 2:8-14} Why was there a need for such a large host of angels to announce Christmas? That God took so much effort to convey the message even to the lowly shepherds? It is because Christmas was a celebration both on earth and heaven, an event of magnitude proportions. Christmas brought a distinct action in heaven. It brought glory to God. In heaven. So the praise wasn't confined to heaven alone, as the excitement was palpable on earth too. God's glory, wisdom, power, mercy, joy, love and hope was revealed through Christmas. Christmas gives glory to God.
