Sri Durgaparameshwari Venkatramana Temple it is situated in derebail which is between kadri and kavoor village. the word derebail means "dewara bayalu" that is "plain of god". "the panchayathana mode of pooja" is an example to depict that the temple existed earlier to the period of madhavach
With regard to development of the3 temple an astamangala was arranged with which it came into light. Nearly
8 centuries ago the marathas had a hold over this holy place. The shivalli brahmins were given the rights of conducting the daily rituals of the temple.it is not known where and why the maraths went from here. but their religious practise of "GONDHOLU" was in practise for a few decades back but gradually even this practise was stopped. it is not possible to maintain the day to day affairs of the temple by few people.so it is decided that since the temple belongs to the entire village, all the people will whole heartedly take part in the maintenance of the temple. Once in every 12 years it is necessary to conduct "Brahmakalasham" of every temple.according to the astamangalam it is said that the temple needs a proper structure based on "Vaastu". To go forword with the construction of the temple we are ladcking funds, so we request our respected donors to come forword and kindly show their generosity through cash or kind in rebuilding and maintaining the daily affairs of the temple.
