St. Joseph Church, Bajpe

St. Joseph Church, Bajpe St Joseph’s Church is located at the heart of Bajpe town. The parish is spread over 24 wards, including more than 900+ families. The parish is headed by Rev.

Fr Andrew Dsouza as the Parish Priest. This Church was founded in 1837. Since the old structure of the Church was becoming insufficient to accommodate the growing population of the parish, the then committee decided to construct a new building for the Church. The new Church building (Present Church) is constructed on the foundation stone that is blessed by The Pope John Paul II during his visit to Mangalore on 6th February, 1986.
