Sri VeeraVenkatesha Charitable Trust A charitable trust with the main objective to extend financial help to the needy for Healthcare & Education

Temples have traditionally provided the backdrop for social welfare & community development in India. For the underprivileged section of the society, temples are not only a place or worship & source of mental peace, but also a source of Charity & relief in times of distress. Such is the history of Sri Veera Venkatesha Charitable Trust. Sri Venkatramana Temple, Mangalore is one of the ancient and r

evered shrines of Coastal Karnataka. The Year 2004 was the Bi centenary year of Sri Venkataramana Temple, Car Street, Mangalore. To commemorate this great occasion and also to extend a helping hand to the economically backward families of our society, the then
trustees of the temple decided to form a Charitable Trust to help such needy families. There are lots of families in society who need helping hand from all of us for various causes like education, medical aid, shelter, employment etc. The proposal of starting this charitable trust was placed before H.H.Srimad Sudheendra Theertha Swamiji of Kashimut. His Holiness Swamiji was impressed with this noble thought and graciously extended his blessings and subsequently the trust was formed and H.H.Swamiji blessed the trust by naming as SRI VEERA VENKATESHA CHARITABLE TRUST.
