Shree Koragajja Kshetra, Urwa Boloor is one among the numerous deities settled and known for their blissful presence on the life and routine of Tulunadu in protecting the aggrieved devotees andpunishing the one who slips from his Dharma. From the folklore of Pardana and the divine wordings of theSpirit, one can understand the blissful presence of prime deity of the Kshetra, Koraga Taniya. With the
grace and power of Lord Shiva, he was born to Oravana Odi and Korapolu Maire who lived at Panambur Patta Sale. He lost both his parents in his infancy itself and though he lost the legacy of whole Koraga cult of Seven Koppas and was deeply moved by the grief of orphan hood, he was found by Mairakke Baidedi who was a resident of Insura Barke, an area different from his Koppa. As the time passed, he was grown up and used to do the work of his cult. When Mairakke Baidedi could not find a help to carry the items required for performing Nema to her family deities, tender coconuts, tiri (derived from coconut trees) and bale (tender trunk of banana plantain) etc., he assured her that he can carry theload of seven persons all alone. And he will himself carry the load and later becomes a victim of fiercely anger of the deities of Mairakke family at the sacred Kadri Kshetra. Its here he leaves his physical body and gains the mystical divine presence and with which he takes the blessings of Kadri Manjunatha and after covering the Northern State with his blissful aura, he proceeds to Southern State with the similar purpose. The place where he meets Urva Boloor Mariyamma by setting his mystical presence in a small stone in the Western seabed is now well known as Koragajja Kshetra, Urwa Boloor Later his holiness visits Kuttar Sarala Patta and meets Shri Somanatheshwara at Someshwar and pronounced as one of the Monitoring Deity among Pajandaya, Banta and Vaidyanatha dieties of the State which was then under the ordinance of Kuttar King of three villages. The name and fame of blissful presence of Swami Koragajja is now popular vide and wast of Tulunadu. It is proposed to dedicate Golden Muttale to Koragajja of Shri Kshetra in the coming year, on 19/04/2025
