Operating from Birra Station in the month of February 1916 Rev. & Mrs E.B. In 1917 Rev. & Mrs. Wiens started ingathering of the harvest of the area. Thereafter from 1918 Rev. Wiens began a systematic to open a Mission station and from 1919 He extended 4 weeks regular feature of the work through Fuljhar and Deori Jamidari. On December 28, 1920 Resolution passed to open a Mission station in Basna. S
ame year the Director of Mission Board - Dr. J.W. Kliewer arrived India and in the month of January 1921 made a party of consisting Mr. Habegger, Rev. & Mrs. P.A. Panner, Rev. & Mrs. S.T. Moyer Mr. Ferdinand Wiens, the party was lead by Rev. Wiens. November 7th, Resolution No. 9 passed in Champa conference where Rev. T. Moyer assigned to open the Mission station in Basna. in 1922, Missionary party consisting Rev. Wiens and Rev. Moyer ministered in Fuljhar Deori Jamidari for 4 weeks. From November 20 to December 5 first determined effort was made to buy a land for the Fifth Mission station Basna (Finally which is called Jagdeeshpur)by Rev. P.W. Penner, Wiens and Moyer. December 5, pettision was filed with Fuljhar Jamidar for suitable land. but it was not easy to get it. Missionary had to face antagonism, stone pelting, reactance from local people and unseen forces. In the month of October Basna Mission Station was separated from Birra, and Rev. Moyer was given responsibility of Basna Station. In the month of November 1923 Rev. Moyer made trip to Saraipali to obtain land for Mission Station. December 12, Rev. & Mrs. Moyer tented near Narsingpur village from there they were driven out. Finally April 17 Brothern P.W. Penner and P.A. Penner land deed registration in Raipur. The Land was given which is 5.5 miles north from Basna village near the forest. On April 22, Church and Sunday School was carried on in a rudimentary way under Mahua tree. On November 30, First Sunday service were held on New Mission Station. The Missionary who were toiled hard said "This is the Land that God has chosen." Till this day the Land is source of blessings to many. Innumerous have blessed Spiritually, Educationally and Health.
