greetings in the name of our lord and savior Jesus Christ, Just want to thank you all that prayed for our mission trip to Rokon/
It was an exciting mission trip as we see the move of |God during the programme.We were able to show the jesus film for two in the community. This is the first time the people of the community has seen the full story of jesus Christ.They marveled at the story and the miracles that jesus performed during the course of the film. Many at the end of the film people gave up their lives to jesus Christ.
Rokon is surrounded by 100 villages and there is no church so Rokon is going to be the base for church planting in that community. This whole community is Muslims dominated and it is difficult for some one to accept Christ but the power of God moved during the preaching and many were saved. They are involved in idolatry ,witch craft, juju and primitive traditional practices and secret society
So that prompted the historic event of baptism in the community in the community. In the community people cane boldly to be baptized and renouncing all their evil practices and their religion Islam which they have been in since birth. The lord is so good as it is the beginning of a great revival in the community
Please continue to keep us in your prayers
1. Pray that more laborers will come to help in this great harvest
2.Pray that the lord will open the hearts of the many people who still want to baptize but are afraid of their family members
3.Pray for the pastor in the community to be bold to preach Gods word
4Pray for Gods provision to support mission work in the community as the village is in a remote part of Sierra Leone and we need a vehicle and motor bikes to move around these villages
5. We want to begin the building of our first church building in the community which will serve as a center of training for the surrounding communities.15,000 dollars can build a church in that community
Pray that the lord will provide support for us to be able to show the jesus film in the various communities it is a great task
Please keep us in your prayers for the more than 50 cases of hernia now discovered in the community that needs urgent operation, thanks
