Mar Gregorios Orthodox Syrian Church, Ludhiana is a parish under Delhi diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church .It is better known as " The Parumala of Punjab ". By the abundant grace of God Almighty and the intercession of Parumala kochu Thirumeni; Church turned out to be as a centre of light and blessings to many in the city of Ludhiana. f our patron saint, St. The Parish has fifty family members along with the vibrant youth studying in the Christian Medical College, Ludhiana. Parish is deeply indebted to Miss Mary Mathai who donated the land for the Church building. The Spiritual Organisations like the Area Prayer groups, Youth Movement, MGOCSM, Sunday School, Marthamariyam Samajam and AMOSS are all actively functioning in our Parish. It is worth mentioning that the parish has been promoting charitable activities to the benefit of the people from all walks of life, irrespective of cast, creed or any such consideration. The Gregorian Orthodox Society (Regd.) under which the church functions, started a primary school in 2003.Presently, the St. Gregorios School has 100 students and 7 staff members. Rev. John K Jacob is serving as the vicar since 2011.
