A routine checkup turned into weeks of worry for Kirti Maheshwari.
She was told her baby was measuring underweight, and the doctors prepared her for the possibility of a C section. She is 29 and a homemaker in Bhilwara, and she had never been more frightened.
She had joined LearnGeeta's 28th batch in September 2023, so the shlokas were already part of her day. Through those weeks she leaned on them harder. She describes reciting them when her mind would not settle at night.
Her daughter was born healthy.
Kirti ji is careful about how she tells this. She does not claim the recitation changed anything the doctors were watching. What she says is that it gave her somewhere to put the fear while she waited.
That is what a lot of people find in the Geeta. Not answers exactly. Something steadier to stand on.

Rama Phani Bhat reads the Bhagavad Geeta in Braille.
She is 50, works at HAL in Bengaluru, and joined LearnGeeta's L1 batch in March 2024. Learning the Geeta online meant listening closely, holding the pronunciation in memory, and reading the text through her hands.
Her trainers kept pushing her a little further than she thought she could go. She says that is the part that stayed with her, more than any single shloka.
She describes it simply. Her situation is the same as it always was. She just stopped letting it decide what she was capable of.
