❤️ Two Widows, One Beautiful Decision — A New Life in Christ

Today has been a beautiful and unforgettable day for the church at Gurvindagunta.

This morning, two precious widows, B. Kumari (56) and K. Bujji (58) from Maheswarapuram, a small village between Dullavanigudem and Gurvindagunta, made the most important decision of their lives. They surrendered their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ, were baptized into Christ, and were added to the family of God.

Their decision did not happen overnight.

For many months, we have been spending time with them through Bible studies, prayer, fellowship, encouragement, and most importantly continued love and care by PURE. Little by little, as they listened to the Word of God, their hearts began to understand something greater than the hardships they had experienced—the unconditional and everlasting love of God.

Both women come from different backgrounds. Their life stories are different, and the struggles they have faced are different. Yet there is one painful experience they share: widowhood.

They know what it means to continue life after losing a husband. They know the loneliness, uncertainty, responsibilities, and silent tears that can accompany such a loss.

But their common struggles brought them close to each other.

Over time, Kumari and Bujji became wonderful friends. When one felt weak, the other encouraged her. When one faced a difficulty, the other stood beside her. They learned to help one another and walk through life’s challenges together.

And today, these two friends made an even more beautiful decision together.

They decided that they did not want to walk through the rest of their lives merely depending upon their own strength. They wanted to walk with Jesus Christ.

This morning, at Gurvindagunta, they confessed their faith and were baptized into Christ. As they came out of the water, it was more than the conclusion of months of Bible study—it was the beginning of an entirely new journey.

They entered the water as two widows carrying their individual stories, struggles, memories, and burdens.

They came out as two sisters in Christ, belonging to one spiritual family and holding one wonderful hope.

Their earthly circumstances may not change immediately. There may still be challenges ahead. But something much deeper has changed: they now know to whom they belong.

The God who cared for them through their difficult days has now become the center of their new life.

Their story reminds us that the Gospel is not merely something we preach—it is something that finds people in their loneliness, touches wounded hearts, gives hope to the discouraged, and brings people into the family of God.

Today we are reminded of the beautiful verse :

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

For Kumari and Bujji, today is not the end of a story. It is the first page of a new one.

There will be more Bible studies to attend, more Scripture to learn, prayers to offer, struggles to overcome, brothers and sisters to love, and many opportunities to grow into the likeness of Christ.

We thank God for allowing us to witness these two precious souls beginning their walk with Jesus.

Please continue to pray for our new sisters, B. Kumari and K. Bujji. Pray that their faith will become stronger every day, that they will remain rooted in God’s Word, that they will encourage one another in Christ just as they encouraged one another through their struggles, and that their transformed lives will become a testimony to many other widows and families in Maheswarapuram.

May the friendship that once helped them carry the burdens of widowhood now become a friendship that helps them walk faithfully toward eternity.

Two widows.

Two friends.

One faith.

One Lord.

One beautiful decision.

And today—a brand-new life in Christ.

Welcome to the family of God, dear sisters Kumari and Bujji!

“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” — Galatians 3:27

I truly appreciate your love and compassion for the widows who are still coming close to Jesus Christ.

Please remember these two sisters in your prayers.

Thank you🙏

Help Bring God’s Word to the Forgotten and Marginalized Communities of India

A Cry from the Mission Field

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Greetings in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My name is Sujit Prem Dagani, and I have been serving among some of the most marginalized and neglected communities in India for many years. Today, I write to you with a burdened heart and an urgent request that can transform lives for eternity.

I currently minister to approximately 800 people living in four different communities located in and around Gudivada and Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. These families live in isolated settlements, garbage-collecting communities, and socially excluded areas where poverty, discrimination, and hopelessness are daily realities.

Many of these precious people are unable to read or write. Because of illiteracy, they cannot personally access the Bible, even though they have a deep hunger to know God and grow in their faith. Despite being rejected by society and treated as less important, they long to hear the life-giving message of Jesus Christ.

Over the years, many have accepted Christ as their Savior. Sadly, their decision to follow Jesus has often brought further rejection and hardship from those around them. Yet their desire to know God’s Word continues to grow stronger.

The Need

We are seeking support to provide Audio Bible Devices to these Christians, believers and seekers.

These devices contain the complete Word of God in their heart language and are specially designed for people who cannot read. They have a rechargeable battery system, allowing users to listen repeatedly to Scripture in their homes , workplaces and communities.

Each Audio Bible Device costs approximately $80 USD.

Our goal is to provide these devices to at least 300 families, enabling entire households to hear and learn God’s Word regularly.

Through these devices:

* Illiterate Christians and believers can hear Scripture daily.
* Families can gather together for Bible listening.
* New Christians can grow stronger in their faith.
* Children can learn biblical truths.
* Communities can experience spiritual transformation through God’s Word.

As Romans 10:17 reminds us:

“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”

For many of these families, hearing God’s Word is their only practical way to receive regular biblical teaching.

Why This Matters

These communities often live in extreme poverty. Many work as daily laborers, garbage collectors, and sanitation workers. Their living conditions are difficult, and opportunities for education are almost nill.

While society frequently overlooks them, God does not.

The Lord loves them deeply, and they deserve the opportunity to hear His voice through His Word.

Government assistance and social support rarely reach these families in meaningful ways. Yet we have witnessed firsthand how the Gospel brings hope, dignity, and transformation.

Every time I visit these communities, I see their eagerness to learn more about Christ. They ask questions about the Bible, gather faithfully for fellowship, and desire spiritual growth. Their hunger for God’s Word is inspiring.

I firmly believe that Audio Bible Devices will strengthen their faith, deepen their understanding of Scripture, and help establish them firmly in Christ.

How You Can Help

Would you prayerfully consider partnering
with us?

Would you please share this burden with near and dear to involve ?

Your gift can help place God’s Word directly into the hands and hearts of families who otherwise have little access to biblical resources.

Whether you sponsor:

* One Audio Bible Device – $80
* Five Audio Bible Devices – $400
* Ten Audio Bible Devices – $800
* Or any amount the Lord places on your heart

your generosity will help bring the light of God’s Word to people who desperately need it.

Prayer Requests

Please pray:

* For the spiritual growth of these communities.
* For protection over the ministry.
* For unity and encouragement among the new Christians.
* For provision of Audio Bible Devices.
* For open hearts to receive God’s Word.

Thank you for taking the time to read this appeal.

And please feel free to reach me if you have questions or concerns about this appeal

May God bless you abundantly for your love, prayers, and partnership in reaching the forgotten communities of India with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
