In the year 1935 a phial school was started by a local man at Kunnukattan Kalam which belonged to Palaniyarpalayam Parish. Again it was shifted to parisakkal where the present U.P school is situated by Rev.Fr.Rayappan P.P of Palaniyarpalayam. Francis Xavier’s . He Constructed a thatched building (shed) for this purpose. amaniyakaran sallai)for those people. Thus two phial schools were running for some years. But both schools were not recognized by the Govt. In 1947 when Rt.Rw.Mg.B. Obagaraswami D.D was the bishop of CBE and Rao Sahib Mr.I.N. Menon Was the D.P.I by the order of the above mentioned Bishop Rev. Abraham Valliaparambil p.p of Eruthenpathy and Manager of St.Paul’s High School appiled for the recognition of the phial school to the Govt. He got sanction for the same and it became a recognized primary school. Then both phial schools were combined and Rev.Fr.A. Valliaparambil became the manager of this school. The Santhana maniyakar of K.M.S offered ¾ acre of land for the school purpose. The p.p of palaniyarpalayam Rev.Fr.S.M.Rayappan constructed a tiled building and started Stds I & II in 1947 and two of Qualified hands were appointed under the same management. In 1948 & 49 Std III & IV were opened respectively and qualified hands were appointed. For want of accommodation another tiled building was constructed by Rev.Fr.A. Swaminathan p.p of Sorappara because Koolamaniyakaran kalam was under the parish of Sorappara. In 1950 March Rev.Fr.Valliaparambil was tranfered and handed over the Management to Rev.Fr. Irudayam Asst. p.p of Sorappara and Std V was opened. In that year two male teacher’s were resigned and in those vacancies two Rev.Sisters Sr.Eugene and Sr.Irene were appointed . In 1951 January Rev.Fr. Irudayam the manager was tranfered and the management was handed over to Rev. Siluvainather . He modified the second building putting doors and windows. In 1952 June the Headmaster M.J.Thomas resigned and Sr.Eugine became the headmistress. In 1953 July Rev.Fr.A.Siluvai the manager was transfered and the management was handed over to Sr.Eugine and Rev.Fr.S.M.Rayappan became the p.p of K.M.S and for the benefit of the staff and students a well was dugged by him by giving money. In 1956 August Rev.Fr.S.M. Rayappan Was Transfered and Rev.Fr.Abraham Valliaparambil became the p.p of K.M.S. In 1957Rev.Fr.A.Valliaparambil constructed an office room a tiffin shed, a latrine for the teachers and also modified the well by putting walls around. The amount was given by his Lordship Rt.Rev.Dr.M.Savarimuthu Bishop of CBE. From 1947 to 1960 (nearly 13 years) the school remained as a primary school with 5 teachers and 5standards. In 1958 May Rev.Fr. Valliaparambil was trasfered and rev.Fr.A.Asirvatham became the parish priest by the request of the parishners and local people and with the permission of the Bishop rt.Rev.Dr.M.Savarimuthu steps were taken for upgrading the school. In 1960 June sanction was given and Std VI was opened on 1-6-60 with strength of 32 pupils. For want of accommodation a new building was irrected-dimensions shown in the K.E.R by Rev.Fr.A.Asirvatham Parish Priest. Rev.Mother Isabel Mary from CBE paid Rs.4000/- for the new buildinh and NES Block also helped is by giving Rs.1500/- in the same year within 3 months the building was completed, blessed and inaugurated by the DEO of Palakkad. In 1961 Std VII was opened. The Block Development officers helped us by grant for furnitures and equipments for both LP & UP sections giving Rs.400 for each. They also helped us to construct two urinals and two latrines by giving Rs.337 as grant. From 1961 to 1983 nearly Twenty Two years the school remained as a upper primary school. Administrated by Rev.Sr.Eugine, Sr.Irene, Sr.Emerita. Sr.Eugine got retired on 31-05-1968. Sr.Irene took the charge and she had been on the charge since 03-06-74. Sr.Emerita took the charge as Head Mistress. The congrecation celebrated the death centenary of the founder Fr.Louis Ravele on 1981. In memory of that centenary Mother Bernedeth and her councileur decided to upgrade this UP school as High School. For that purpose a land of 7 acres from David was bought and all the necessary steps were taken for the purpose by Sr.Emerita. Sr.Emerita was transfered to St.Sebastian UP on 4-06-1982. Sr.Madalai Mary took the charge as sister in charge. The school was upgraded as High School on 20-07-1983. Two class room were constructed with help of the generalate.(Mother Immaculate) Five rooms were constructed and it was blessed and opened by his Lordship M. Ambrose on 27-07-84. Sr.Alphonsa, Sr.Hilaria, Mrs.Elsy, Miss.Dhanalakshmi, Miss.Pushpam were the teachers appointed. Because of the over strength Mother Marcelline helped to construct 3 more rooms and it was blessed and opened by the parish priest Fr.Nelson on 15-09-91. With the help of the PTA a stage was constructed and opened on 15-08-92. Then Sr.Arul, Miss.Martin P.T was appointed and in additional Tamil teacher and special teachers for physical Education and Music were appointed. The first set of SSLC was sent on1986 and they got 93% of result and following years the school performed in an apperciatted way and got 100% result. Not only in education but in all the competitions the school got good records. So the strength of the school increased. His Lordship M.Ambrose advised the Parish Priest to prepare a project to construct some classrooms. With the hand got from MAHOSUNUITTAS 5 rooms were constructed at the cost of 10,00,000. And it was blessed by His Lordship and opened by the Kerala Govt. Irrigation Minister T.M.Jacob on 14-06-94. Coimbatore Multipurpose center advised to prepare a project for Drinking Water and for Urinal facilities. Again Monosunithas sanctioned Rs.1,30,000/- to make Borewell and to construct Urinals. Four rooms were constructed and blessed on 3-7-1995. Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Classes were conducted and Fr.Nelson & Sr.Josephine managed it till 31-5-97. When he was transferred to kanakkankalam it was shifted to the there. A compound wall around the High School campus was constructed by the effort of Sr. Martha. She was the headmistress since 4-7-1997. A new High School was established at marutha road on 4-7-97. She was transferred to Marutha road. Sr.Alphonsa the next first assistant was appointed as the Headmistress by the advise of Mother Daria . The school was upgraded as Vocational Higher Secondary School with two Courses CCM & MLT on 18-12-2000. 42 students were admitted at the first time. The courses were conducted by guest lectures till the post were got sanctioned on 5-09-2001. Mother Daria laid foundation stone for the new Voc.Hr.Sec.building. The courses were sanctioned on December 2000. 7 Lectures 2 Instructors, 2 Lab Assistants and one clerk were appointed permanently. The Manager Mother Daria contributed more than 50 Lakhs to construct the Higher Secondary building work shed for the CCM Course and purchase the Lab Equipments. The new building was blessed by Rev.Fr.Pushpanathan the Parish Priest and opened by the Manager Mother Daria. Sr.Alphonsa the Headmistress of the High school was appointed as the Principal of the newly started Vocational Hr. School. Small chapel as a prayer house was constructed and it was blesses by His Lordship Most.Rt.Rev.Thomas Acquanas Bishop of Coimbatore. The secration of C.B.I selected our school to conduct 2 weeks seminars on Evangelization. Members from all over the Tamil Nadu was attended the seminar from 2-5-2003 to 17-05-2003. Fr.Nelson director of Catechetical centre and Fr.Panneerselvam from salem made all the arrangements. With the help of the procurator general Sr.Mercy the whole school Building was painted during may 2004. With the help of PTA 2003 there are 11 Computers were bought. Sri. Achuthan. MLA of Chittur donated 5 computers from his M.L.A Found. With the PTA found the LP Building was paintted during May 2006. The Uniform for L.P & U.P were changed.
