It was a great privilege and blessing to visit the residence of Mrs. Saramma Pappachen, 77 years old, beloved mother of Rt. Rev. Dr. Zacharias Mar Aprem, and Mrs. Ramany Varghese P., 65 years old, at Kunnamkulam–Challissery.

Both of them have completed the remarkable task of writing the entire Bible by hand in Malayalam—a truly extraordinary testimony of their love, devotion, and commitment to the Word of God.

On behalf of The Bible Society of India – National Office, Bengaluru, and the Kerala Auxiliary, we were honoured to present them with a Special Certificate of Appreciation and a personalized Bible from the Central Office, in recognition of their exceptional dedication to the Scriptures.

We praise God for their lives and their love for His Word. We are also encouraged that they have begun writing the English Bible. Mrs. Ramany has already completed the English New Testament.

May their dedication to the Word of God become a model and inspiration.

We also appreciate Rev. John Varghese and Evg. Wilson MJ (Moncy) for accompanying us.

The 53rd Annual Meeting and Thanksgiving Service of the Bible Society of India, Kerala Auxiliary, Kunnamkulam Branch, along with a Bible Exhibition and Sale, was held at Arthat Mar Thoma Church, Kunnamkulam.

Rev. Anu Oommen presided over the meeting, and the Auxiliary Secretary delivered the Keynote Address. Mr. M. C. George, Regional Coordinator, graced the occasion and presented the panel of newly elected branch committee members.

Clergy and pastors from various churches attended the programme and conveyed their greetings and support. Members and well-wishers from the surrounding area also participated in the meeting.

We sincerely appreciate the excellent leadership of Mr. Jose Francis, Branch Secretary, and all the branch leaders for their dedicated efforts in organising the meeting in such a blessed and meaningful manner.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the branch members and participating churches for their valuable support and commitment to the Bible cause. We are especially thankful for their efforts in raising ₹3,32,151/- during the financial year 2025–2026 for the ministry of the Bible Society.

May God bless the Kunnamkulam Branch, its leaders, churches, members, and all those who continue to support the mission of spreading God’s Word.
