With great joy and gratitude we Medical Mission Sisters of Provincial House Kottayam welcomed Sr Laetitia Aerthayil, Sr Lilly Chunkapura and Sr Elise Kurisummoottil who all repatriated to Mother House Kottaym. Also welcomed Binita Lugun , newly professed sister.
Sr Laetitia Aerthayil, had been in Northeast for last 37 years with great enthusiasm and deep commitment in different places such as Mendipathar, Chumukedima and Sundari. Sr Lilly Chunkapura had spent 28 years as director of TREDA Bangalore a De-addiction Centre. She has given hope to many families and trained youngers to this field. Sr Elise Kurisummoottil was in Ethiopia-Africa for last 31 years as staff nurse .She committed herself to the poor and needy people there and management team member of Attat hoapitl, Ethiopia.

Praise God for the 96th anniversary of our foundation day

How marvellous to consider all that we have experienced during the past 96 years,

All the changes, great and small, History-making events, all the simple countless moments

That composed those past 96 years. We have lived those years doing good to-

so many people, assisting them to experience God’s healing touch and inspiring many.

It was made possible by the Spirit of God working in and through us, pouring out God’s-

With a grateful heart, we commemorate on April 17th the 41st death anniversary of Dr. Mother Anna Dengel founder of MMS and the108th death anniversary of Dr. Agnes McLaren. She inspired Mother Dengel to study medicine to help women and children in India and eventually the beginning of religious congregation-Medical Mission Sisters. We pray to our pioneers that more young women be motivated to religious life to commit their life to Jesus's healing mission.
