Funeral Notice
ചരമ അറിയിപ്പ്
സി. എസ്. ഐ മദ്ധ്യകേരള മഹായിടവക മുതിർന്ന വൈദികൻ കൊല്ലാട് കൈതയിൽ റവ. കെ. സി. ചാക്കോ ശാസ്ത്രി (94) കർത്താവിൽ നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു. *സംസ്കാരം 2026 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 19 ന് 3 മണിക്ക് കൊല്ലാട് സി.എസ്.ഐ. സെന്റ്. മിഖായേൽ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ* ബിഷപ്പ് റൈറ്റ് റവ. ഡോ. മലയിൽ സാബു കോശി ചെറിയാന്റെ മുഖ്യ കാർമികത്വത്തിൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്.
ഭൗതിക ശരീരം *19 ന് രാവിലെ 7 ന് ഭവനത്തിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതും, 12 മണിക്ക് ഭവനത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷ
നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നതുമാണ്.* തുടർന്ന് മൂന്നു മണി വരെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പൊതുദർശനത്തിനായുള്ള സമയം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. *പരേതൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമരസേനാനിയും, കൂവപ്പള്ളി ആർപ്പൂക്കര, ന്യൂഡൽഹി, ബോംബെ കന്നേറ്റി, കൽക്കട്ട, മുണ്ടിയപ്പള്ളി, ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരി, മസ്കറ്റ്, കാനം, കുറുമ്പനാടം, കൊല്ലാട് എന്നീ ഇടവകകളിൽ വൈദിക ശുശ്രൂഷ നിർവഹിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതുമാണ്. *
ഭാര്യ -കഞ്ഞിക്കുഴി വടശ്ശേരിയിൽ പരേതയായ അന്നമ്മ ചാക്കോ, മക്കൾ പരേതനായ റവ. ഡോ. ജേക്കബ് ചാക്കോ, തോമസ് ജേക്കബ് കൈതയിൽ (Zion digital studio), മരുമക്കൾ: മാവേലിക്കര പീടികയിൽ അന്നമ്മ ജേക്കബ്, വടവാതൂർ അമ്പാട്ട് മെറീന തോമസ്, കൊച്ചുമക്കൾ: ഡോ. റോഹൻ ചാക്കോ ജേക്കബ്, റോണിയ ആൻ ജേക്കബ്, എമി ആൻ തോമസ്.
ദുഃഖത്തിൽ ആയിരിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങളെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ ഓർക്കുമല്ലോ.

Rev. K. C. Chacko Sastry (94), a senior presbyter of the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese, of Kollad Kaithayil, slept in the Lord.
The funeral service will be held on 19 August 2026 at 3:00 PM at CSI St. Michael’s Church, Kollad.
The funeral services will be conducted under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Dr. Malayil Sabu Koshy Cherian, Bishop, CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese.
The mortal remains will be brought to the residence at 7:00 AM on 19 August. The service at the residence will be held at 12:00 noon. Thereafter, the mortal remains will be kept at the church for public viewing until 3:00 PM.
The late Rev. K. C. Chacko Sastry was a freedom fighter and served as a presbyter in the parishes of Koovappally, Arpookara, New Delhi, Bombay, Kannetty, Calcutta, Mundiyappally, Changanassery, Muscat, Kanam, Kurumpanadam and Kollad.

Children: Late Rev. Dr. Jacob Chacko; Thomas Jacob Kaithayil (Zion Digital Studio)
Daughters-in-law: Annamma Jacob, Mavelikara Peedikayil; Merina Thomas, Vadavathoor Ambattu
Grandchildren: Dr. Rohan Chacko Jacob, Ronia Ann Jacob, Amy Ann Thomas
