Karukadom Mor Gregorios Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Chapel - Autonomous Mor Gregorios Jacobite Syrian Chapel at Karukadom (Ambalampady), located in the Muvattupuzha-Kothamangalam road(NH-85), was established in 1986.

The first Holy Mass was celebrated here on November 2, 1988 on the day of 86th Dhukrono of Patron Saint of Malankara (Holy Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church), Chathuruthy Mor Gregorios Geevarghese. The altars in the chapel are dedicated to St.Gregorios, St.Mary, St.George, St.Thomas and St.Elias III Patriarch. The chapel owns a shrine under the name of St.George. amajam (women's organization in the Church) , the Evangelical Association of the East & Youth Association of the Church(JSOYA) are functioning in this chapel. This is one of the 25 autonomous chapels under the Angamali diocese of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church as per the diocesan records of 2003.
