The heinous incident at R.G. Kar Medical College has raised many disturbing questions. Are women safe at all? Is working late now an invitation to violence? Are we truly independent?
As we approach the , it is painfully clear that Kolkata is no longer the City of Joy.
A dedicated doctor, fulfilling her duty at night, was brutally r**ed and murdered. This tragic event starkly highlights the loss of security within our society.
It is beyond our understanding how her family must feel knowing what happened.
I stand in solidarity with this fight for justice. To all those in authority, power and position, I extend my request to take action immediately.
I strongly condemn such an act of cruelty. It's time to reflect, act and create a safer environment for everyone.
