kartabyam sarvada viprair
vishnu prinana karanam’

The devotees should always observe Ekadashi to please Lord Vishnu for this fulfills all once desire’. Therefore one will have to observe the vow of Ekadashi for the sake of satisfying the lord. The happiness and prosperty will automatically follow.

This is He! My sportive Lord Krishna, playing on His flute and coming towards me with a fickle gait. Sri Rukmini Dvadasi

Today is Sri Rukmini Dwadasi, the appereance day of Srimati Rukmini Devi the consort of Bhagavan Sri Krishna.

The love story of Rukmini and Lord Krishna and their elopement is one of the most famous stories associated with Lord Krishna mentioned in the Bhagavata Mahapurana. Rukmini Dwadashi is observed on the twelfth day of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of moon) of Vaisakh month (April – May). It is believed that those who offer worship prayers and pujas with flowers will have their wishes fulfilled.
