The Society for Propagation of The Quraan and Hadith has served the Muslims of the state of West Bengal for well over six years. Most manifest of course, is the, formation and incorporation of Muslim Business Council of India, which, since its very inception has been a meeting place of people and ideas. In addition to building bridges of understanding and cooperation within the diversity that is I
slam in India, our Society is now playing a pivotal role in extending those bridges to include all people of all faith within India. Less well known, and yet critically important are our efforts that go beyond the Muslim community to include projects that are often more humanitarian than theological, more global than national, and altogether more complex and nuanced. These include efforts to stop the human tragedy or to alleviate the plight of the downtrodden, or to work with state and civic structures in addressing the challenges that Muslims in the West Bengal face. We are presently involved in many projects which covers education, health, human rights, women empowerment etc. The manifest is our partnership (providing the inputs for training of fisherwomen) in the West Bengal Ornamental Fish Farm Mega Project. Your membership in our Society helps keep our vision alive, and your contributions, both material as well as moral, help sustain the projects so vital to our survival and development in this part of the globe.
