Faith AG Church Global Celebration Center, Kolkata started with a vision of our Founder and Senior Pastor, Rev. Shaji to reach the city and the state with God’s love, although God has given us a wider vision of reaching the world with God’s love. In its early days, this church was addressed as a BASTI CHURCH (Slum church) since the ministry predominantly began among the slum people in Kolkata. We
commenced our ministry by visiting and praying for people in the slums and conducting house fellowships. Almost for 11 years, the result was very poor but as we continued the ministry with perseverance, God started to steer up people’s hearts. Many responded to the gospel of Jesus Christ as they found their hope in Christ. God also performed numerous signs and wonders. The first service was in Hindi language then God enabled us to start services in other languages like English, Bengali, and Tamil. Today we have 6 services in FAGC. FAGC stands as a lighthouse to the city of Kolkata and also to the state of West Bengal. FAGC does not limit only to salvation but also takes an initiative to discipline and nurture each individual's life who is willing to take a step to follow Christ.
