Sri Sri Sadanandamoyee Kalibari is an attempt by the members of the Bhattacharjee family to expand the heritage of our family's kalipuja among to the people across all geographical boundaries. Our ancestors started the festival of Sri Sri Kalipuja at Jhikarkati (Erikati), a small village in the erstwhile Faridpur district of what is now Bangladesh in the year of 1817. After Bengal partition, the K

alipuja was stopped for nearly 23 years. Then Late Kantimoy Bhattacharjee restarted the puja at his new home in Kolkata in the year of 1970. From that day the puja is being conducted generation after generation.
