arjuna uvāca :
paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma
pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣaṁ śāśvataṁ divyam
ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum
āhus tvām ṛṣayaḥ sarve
devarṣir nāradas tathā
asito devalo vyāsaḥ
svayaṁ caiva bravīṣi me
sarvam etad ṛtaṁ manye
yan māṁ vadasi keśava
na hi te bhagavan vyaktiṁ
vidur devā na dānavāḥ

After hearing Bhagavad-gītā from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Arjuna accepted Kṛṣṇa as paraṁ brahma, the Supreme Brahman. Every living being is Brahman, but the supreme living being, or the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the Supreme Brahman. Paraṁ dhāma means that He is the supreme rest or abode of everything; pavitram means that He is pure, untainted by material contamination; puruṣam means that He is the supreme enjoyer; śāśvatam, eternal; divyam, transcendental; ādi-devam, the original Supreme Personality of Godhead; ajam, the unborn; and vibhum, the greatest.

What is the Bhagavad-gītā? The purpose of Bhagavad-gītā is to deliver mankind from the nescience of material existence. Every man is in difficulty in so many ways, as Arjuna also was in difficulty in having to fight the Battle of Kurukṣetra. Arjuna surrendered unto Śrī Kṛṣṇa, and consequently this Bhagavad-gītā was spoken. Not only Arjuna, but every one of us is full of anxieties because of this material existence. Our very existence is in the atmosphere of nonexistence. Actually we are not meant to be threatened by nonexistence. Our existence is eternal. But somehow or other we are put into asat. Asat refers to that which does not exist.

History of Simantini Devi
This story is given in Sri Navadvipa-dhama-mahatmya.

Once on Kailash, Lord Shiva chanted the names of Gauranga, and then began to dance in ecstasy. Parvati Devi asked him: “What kind of mantra are you repeating?” Shiva replied: “I sing the name of Gauranga. This is a special incarnation of the Lord that distributes pure love for Krsna. " Parvati also wanted to receive this love, and Shiva advised her to go to Navadvipa.

Arriving at this place, Parvati Devi began to chant the name of Gauranga. After some time, the Lord appeared before her in the form of Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

His body was golden in color, and a garland of forest flowers hung on His neck that touched His lotus feet. The Lord's clothes were wet with tears - He cried out of love for Krsna. His hands reached the knees. He had big eyes like lotuses, and He Himself charmingly smiled. He was beautiful.

Seeing Him, Parvati bowed down to Him. She wanted to offer prayers, but her voice broke.

The Lord asked her:

- Why did you come here? What do you want?

Parvati replied:

- My husband told me that you are distributing love for Krsna to everyone. But I'm the only one who got nothing. I am very unfortunate. Pure Vaishnavas do not like to communicate with me and are called the “witch Maya”. I always lack communication with devotees. And I have no love for the Lord ... O Gauranga! Please give me love for the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krishna!

Lord Gauranga blessed her:

“Dear Devi, you are not different from Radharani.” You are shakti, My energy and part of My games.

With the blessing of Lord Caitanya, Parvati was able to realize that she was nondifferent from Radharani.

Parvati took the dust from the lotus feet of Gauranga and applied to her parting (shimantu). Therefore, this island is called Simantha Dvipa.

In the holy dham of Parvati, Maya-devi experiences the sincerity of the devotees. In this temple, you can pray Simantini devi to gain the mercy of Lord Caitanya. Just meditating here on this game, we will easily find His mercy.

Kartik (Damodar) is the best, the purest of purifiers, and most glorious of all months. Kartik month is particularly dear to Lord Sri Krishna. This month is full of bhakta vatsalya. Any vrata, even the smallest, will yield huge results. The effect of performing a Kartik Vrata lasts for one hundred lifetimes, Kartik or the festival of offering lamps to Lord Krishna, glorifies Lord Krishna’s pastime of being bound with ropes by Mother Yashoda.

The most pious month in the Hindu calendar, Kartik Maas, is devoted to the worship of Lord Krishna. Among the 12 months of the year, it is this month that takes us closer to the Almighty as it has a special place in the heart of the Supreme God.

Every act of kindness, vrata, and duty towards God performed during Kartik month manifests and brings us closer to Lord Krishna. Offering one Tulasi leaf to Lord Krishna and lighting a lamp in the temple every day washes off sins of millions of kalpas and every act to please God increases manifold during Kartik Mass.

Surrender to the Lord 💚

A person who is intelligent and able to understand the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness naturally gives up everything and takes to the shelter of Kṛṣṇa. In this regard, Lord Caitanya recites a verse spoken by Uddhava in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (3.2.23): "How can one take shelter of anyone but Kṛṣṇa? He is so kind. Even though Bakāsura's sister planned to kill Kṛṣṇa when He was an infant by applying poison to her breast and offering it to Kṛṣṇa to suck and thus die, still that heinous woman received salvation and was elevated to the same platform as Kṛṣṇa's own mother. (Teachings of Lord Caitanya, Chapter 12)

Sometimes people act without even being aware of what they are doing. These careless acts might turn into 😫 There are even. Let us know what they are and how they effect 🔽

Karma cycle is extremely beautiful and also scary at the same time.
Somebody is good at something without even learning about it.
People just see the karma of this life but one’s karma is actually an imprint of many lifetimes.We choose our next life according to our actions in this life. That is what we call . Somebody is rich and somebody is poor. Some work hard but their results don’t fructify while some don’t put in efforts but are really successful. This is nothing but karma.

Karma cycle bonds us. We already have had millions of births and so many imprints on our consciousness from so many births. As per our karma, we get a different body in 8.4 million species until we cross this cycle of birth of death by taking to devotional service.

This process of birth and death is constant until we reach back to our real identity and real home.

Karma is of 4 types:

Sancit Karma: It is sum total of all the good and bad karma from so many of our past lives. Every moment of our life, we are adding or reducing our sancit karma depending on our actions. The results of sancit karma are awaiting to be completed in this life or in further lives. Until this sancit karma is zero, we will have to take birth again and again.

Prarabdha Karma: It is that portion of sancit karma which is destined to act in this life. This can be seen from one’s horoscope at the time of birth.

Kriyamana Karma: It is the daily and instant karma that we create through our good or bad actions in day-to-day life. This contributes to our sancit karma. This kriyamana karma can either act in this life or in future lifetimes. If two people steal, one might get caught immediately and the other might get its punishment in a future birth. This is Kriyamana Karma - the new karma that we create daily with our actions and choices.

Aagami Karma: The karma that we create in our this birth for getting result in future birth is Aagami Karma.

If there is good karma, then one is given riches, prestige and respect in the society, and importantly a platform to enquire about spirituality and purpose of life. If one has negative karma, they are likely to suffer. Nobody has only good karmas or bad karma’s. All have a blend of good karma and bad karma. It is bound to act. And this is for our betterment.

The liberation from the cycle of birth and death happens when one’s karmic account is nil.
So we should try not being careless towards our acts and avoid adding bad karma into our account.
