Sri Jayadeva Gosvami -- Disappearance

Jayadeva Goswami is the author of the Gita-govinda, a poem about the pastimes of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna. He appeared 300 years before the advent of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Chaitanya relished hearing the Gita-govinda sung by His close associates. To this day the poem is recited daily in the temple of Lord Jagannatha in Jagannatha Puri, Orissa. Jayadeva Goswami is also the author of the famed Dashavatara Stotra.

Here's the fourth verse from Jayadeva's Dashavatara Stotra, which is chanted in Krishna temples every day:

tava-kara kamala vare nakham adbhuta sringam
dalita hiranyakashipu tanu bringham
keshava-dhrita narahari rupa jaya jagadisha hare

"O Keshava! O Lord of the universe! O Lord Hari, who have assumed the form of half-man, half-lion! All glories to You! Just as one can easily crush a wasp between one's fingernails, so in the same way the body of the wasplike demon Hiranyakashipu has been ripped apart by the wonderful pointed nails on Your beautiful Lotus hands."

Nitai mora jivana-dhana, Nitai mora jati,

Nitai bihane mora, ara nahi gati.

"The Supreme Personality of Servitor Godhead Lord Nityananda Balarama and His Holy Name is the exclusive treasure and wealth of my life. My caste and family lineage is only Lord Nityananda. Without the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda, I have no other destination life after life."

samsara sukhera mukhe, tule dibe chai;

nagare magiya khaba, gaiya nitai.

"I will spit in distaste at even the thought of enjoying the insignificant and flickering pleasures of this material world. Instead with full determination I will dedicate my life to chant, sing, preach and relish the unlimited nectar in the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda in every town and village and eat whatever is obtained by begging at a few houses."

je deshe mora nitai nai, se deshe na jaba;

Niitai vimukha janara, mukha na heriba

"I have taken a determined lifelong vow that I will never ever visit that place even in my dreams where the Holy Name of Nityananda is not known. I will never even desire to see the face of a person who is even minutely or indirectly averse to the Holy Name and Glories of Lord Nityananda."

ganga jara pada jala, hara shire dhare;

hena Nitai na bhajiya, dukha peye mare.

"The Holy, Supremely pure and sanctified water that washes the lotus feet of Lord Nityananda Prabhu is constantly carried by Shiva on his head in great bliss. Thus if one does not chant the Name of Lord Nityananda and worship Him,

such a person is fully certain and doomed to suffer miserably during this life, at the time of death and also in the next lives."

lochana bale mora nitai, jeba na mane;

anala bhejai tara, majha mukha kane

"Thus Lochana Dasa says that those who do not worship my Lord Nityanand by chanting His Name and thus refuse to accept Him as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, such demoniac people will face the great pain of fire which will be

constantly burning their useless and sinful mouths, ears and face."

केशी घाट – जहाँ यमुना बहती हैं दिव्यता की कहानी 🌺
वृंदावन में पवित्र यमुना तट पर स्थित केशी घाट ब्रजभूमि के सबसे मोहक और आध्यात्मिक स्थलों में से एक है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि यही वह स्थान है जहाँ भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने राक्षस केशी का वध किया था, जो दिव्य प्रेम की बुराई पर विजय का प्रतीक है। जब सूर्य अस्त होता है और यमुना की लहरों पर सुनहरी किरणें पड़ती हैं, तो यह स्थान श्रीकृष्ण की लीलाओं की अनंत सुंदरता का प्रतिबिंब बन जाता है। केशी घाट आज भी वृंदावन की प्राचीन रहस्यमयी भक्ति की सजीव याद दिलाता है।
