*Purpose or Popularity?*

If you are pursuing popularity at the cost of compromising Gods eternal truth than u r standing on dangerous ground. U may become popular but miss His purpose. No religious effort however great, can ever please the heart of God as a small act of obedience . When u pursue the truth, it means u r willing to be overlooked, misunderstood and rejected by so called religion. There is cost attached in following the Truth (Jesus)- its a narrow way leading to life. Remember, God never called u to be popular but to be faithful to Him!

JONAH ran away from God,
PAUL was a murderer,
GIDEON was insecure,
MIRIAM was a gossiper,
MARTHA was a worrier,
THOMAS was a doubter,
SARAH was impatient,
ELIJAH was moody,
MOSES was a stammerer,
ZACCHEUS was short,
ABRAHAM was old &
LAZARUS was dead!
Now what is YOUR excuse?
Can God use YOU or not?
GOD DOESN'T CALL THE QUALIFIED, HE QUALIFIES THE CALLED
