Mr. Johnson (secretary) on behalf of the members, took an opportunity to publicly acknowledge Pastor and events, as well as to graciously show their appreciation and gratitude for him. Rev. Silvan Chandrakumar served for 2 years (2017- 2019) in St. James Church, KGF. Pastor thanked all the PC members and the Congregation for their prayers, support and cooperation. In his address he motivated the congregation and PC members to take the church ministry to the next level, for instance, Church planting churches, a vision to set new priorities and execute the plans to the glory of God. He encouraged the congregation members to engage in activities that will make the church as a witnessing community in the neighborhood, to be a peace loving community. He encouraged the members to advance by applying latest resources in the church, such as: Installing LCD screen to use it during the worship service. He expressed his concern to build a sexton's quarters in the campus for maintaining the church campus etc. In his speech he emphasized that every member should have a thorough knowledge of the constitution of the Karnataka Central Diocese. He made it a point to emphasize the importance to revere Pastors who come to serve the Church, to take the best out of the Pastors who come to serve in this church. he brought out many other points, thanked God for His continual presence n guidance, and closed the farewell service
