🌕 Dhammapada Utsav & Full Moon Day Celebration – 🌕

On the sacred occasion of the 104th Birth Anniversary of Parama Poojya Acharya Buddharakkhita Mahathera, Founder of Mahabodhi Organizations, the Dhammapada Utsav and Full Moon Day Celebration were successfully held on 3rd March 2026 at 6:00 pm at Maha Bodhi KGF.

The programme began with Buddha Puja, Tisarana and Panchasila, followed by meditation and very inspiring Dhamma talk by Ven. Jinavamsa Bhanteji, who explained deeply about the importance of the mind and the cultivation of virtues. His teaching encouraged all devotees to strengthen their practice and live according to Dhamma.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of the Superintendent of Police, K.G.F., Shri Shivanshu Rajput, IPS, who attended as the Chief Guest. The society respectfully honoured him during the programme.

The Dāna was generously sponsored by Smt. V. Mukthamba & Sons, and we express our heartfelt gratitude for their generous support.

Special thanks to Dr. Poorneson for conducting the programme smoothly and successfully. We also sincerely thank Prabu Ram upasakaji and Pratap upasakaji for organizing the event with dedication and commitment.

The programme concluded with sharing of merits and blessings to all.

On the sacred day of Magha Purnima, the program began at 10:00 AM at Mahabodhi KGF with Buddha Puja, followed by the undertaking of Panchasila by devotees, offered candles, incense, and flowers with deep faith.

The Dhamma Discourse was delivered by Ven. Bhikkhu Buddhadatta Thero, who spoke on the significance of Magha Purnima, moral discipline, mindfulness, and living the Dhamma in daily life.

The event was graced by Dr. K. Shivakumar, MLC, and Shri V. Somashekar, KAS.

Dāna was offered by Dr. Poorneson and family in memory of the late Smt. Kamalammal Raju and the late Shri P. N. Raju.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bhanteji for coming to KGF and delivering an inspiring Dhamma talk.

🪷 Visit of Hon’ble District Officer to Asoka Dhamma Dhutha Buddhist Society Buddha Vihara 🪷

On 24th June 2025, the Hon’ble District Officer of the Minority Welfare Department, Kolar, visited Asoka Dhamma Dhutha Society Buddha Vihara.

During the visit, the General Secretary respectfully presented the Annual Report for the year 2024–2025, along with books on the life and teachings of Lord Buddha.

The officer appreciated the Vihara’s continued efforts in promoting Dhamma and serving the community through various spiritual and welfare activities.

🌕 Full Moon Day Celebration at Ashoka Dhamma Duta Buddhist Society

Today, the Ashoka Dhamma Duta Buddhist Society joyfully observed the Full Moon Day with deep devotion and community spirit.
🕕 The program began at 6:00 PM with a Buddha Pūjā, followed by calming meditation sessions led by Bhante Buddha Datta and Bhante Bodhi Citta.
📿 A special Dhamma discourse was delivered by Bhante Buddha Datta, inspiring all with words of wisdom and compassion.
🙏 Pañcasīla (Five Precepts) was administered by Bhante Bodhi Citta, guiding the lay devotees in their commitment to the path of virtue.
👥 The gathering witnessed the heartfelt participation of hundreds of Upāsakas and Upāsikās, all coming together to honor the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha.
🧘‍♂️ Earlier in the day, Bhante Buddha Datta held a meaningful meeting with Upāsakas to discuss the ongoing development of the Sangha and future Dhamma activities.
🍛 After the conclusion of the spiritual program, delicious food was offered to all attendees, fostering a sense of unity and generosity.

Today, we joyfully celebrated the Full Moon Day program at Mahabodhi KGF .

Before the program began, we held a meaningful meeting regarding the upcoming Buddha Jayanti Celebration in the month of May, which was graciously presided over by Venerable Buddha Datta Bhanteji.

The evening program commenced at 6:00 PM with a devotional Buddha Pūjā, followed by a serene meditation session and a wonderful Dhamma discourse delivered by Ven. Buddha Datta Bhanteji. The session was deeply inspiring and spiritually enriching for all who attended.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Bhanteji for his compassionate presence and for gracing the program with his profound words of wisdom.

We successfully conducted the Full Moon Day program at Mahabodhi KGF, and we were blessed with the presence of Venerable Sugatananda Bhanteji, whose inspiring presence and profound Dhamma talks made the program truly wonderful and meaningful.

We observed the 11th Smarananjali Day, we have dedicated the entire day to puja, meditation, and lighting lamps. The merits accumulated through these wholesome actions of puja, meditation, and offering light, we humbly share with our beloved *Bada Bhanteji* . May wherever he is reborn, be happy and well. May he find the opportunity to serve the Buddha Sasana once again, and ultimately attain the supreme bliss of Nibbana.
