Highlights from our Annual Day!
Kudos to all our young champions and a huge shout-out to everyone part of Petra Kids Church— students, parents, teachers, staff and volunteers —for all their effort and hard-work throughout the year. It's been a fun and exciting one, God has a lot more in store for us!

When a child raised in the Way grows up and encounters Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, he or she will welcome them with open arms, because they have been prepared for, and indeed, resembles them already.

These pictures are from our day out with the Petra Kids Church. We had a lot of fun being with these little ones and sharing in their joy.

We all need strength. Whether it’s strength to stand up to the bully at school, strength to walk away from temptation, or strength to witness boldly for our faith, we all rely on God’s strength. When God’s strength flows through us, we are able to give without burning out, stand in fiery trials, and endure through the valleys of life. This is what we want for our children, regardless of their season of life.

Children remind us to live more, trust more, laugh more, and seek the love of our Heavenly Father more. God calls us His children, because the love of a child is so precious and fragile, that we should protect it and defend it.

Here are seven helpful and specific things to pray for your children.

1. That Jesus will call them and no one will hinder them from coming.
(Matthew 19:13–15)

2. That they will respond in faith to Jesus’s faithful, persistent call.
(2 Peter 3:9)

3. That they will experience sanctification through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit and will increasingly desire to fulfill the greatest commandments. (Matthew 22:37–39)

4. That they will not be unequally yoked in intimate relationships, especially marriage.
(2 Corinthians 6:14)

5. That their thoughts will be pure.
(Philippians 4:8)

6. That their hearts will be stirred to give generously to the Lord’s work. (Exodus 35:29)

7. That when the time is right, they will GO! (Matthew 28:18–20)
