What made this Religion?
Her name: Arika...from the depths of the forests of Ghana
When the preachers entered the forests behind the river, Arika came to them and asked Sheikh Walid Al-Kurdi to convert to Islam at his hands after she heard and saw the neighboring village after they converted to Islam and how their conditions changed and she heard the verses of the Qur’an and so she Converted to Islam.

She was subjected to severe beatings because she had become a Muslim from her family. She said: They used to beat me in front of the village and then ask me, “Do you return to the religion of your ancestors?” and I told them, “I will not return even if you cut me into pieces.”
Sheikh Walid Al-Kurdi says:
Praise be to God, she sent some sheikhs to her parents and some gifts, and they agreed for her to go and live with the Muslim women in Hira Cave Center to study Islamic sciences. She will return as a preacher to her village and invite them to Islam, God willing.
A Muslim women’s official in the city of Gaskan, Ghana, says:
When we saw the effects of beating on her, we cried and compared her to our master Bilal, may God be pleased with him.
After her liberation from paganism and pagans, her name became “Sakina,” and with permission, she would learn Islamic knowledge and become a caller to God in her country.
Oh God, make us and her steadfast in the truth and make it a reason for others to convert to Islam.
Seriously, I swear to God, as much as I am saddened by what she was exposed to, I am extremely happy with her and her ability. She is a newly Muslim and she can bear that. O God, bless me, seriously, of course, with God’s power and then her pure heart.
One is ashamed of himself and God. Until now, when our inclinations conflict with God’s command, unfortunately, we present our inclinations and say, “God is Forgiving and Merciful,” just because we may be exposed to minor harm, but this strong girl, we ask God for her and for us, is steadfast.
