Women's Commision of KCBC conducted a Leadership workshop on 2 to 4th of October 2014 at POC, Palarivatom. It was inaugurated by His Excellency, Dr.Joseph Mar Thomas, Chairman, Women's Commission. Rev. Fr.Varghese Vallikkat, Deputy Secretary General of KCBC addressed the assembly. His Excellency, Mar Mathew Anikuzhikattil, Vice Chairman presided over the concluding function. Prof. Thara Johns, Rev.Fr.Wilson Elavithinkal Koonan, Srimathy Sinsy Parel also addressed the assembly.

There was a special meeting of the Infam State General Body Members, agriculture experts, and Special invitees on 23rd September 2014, at POC. His Excellency Dr.Mar Mathew Arackal, Episcopal advisor of Infam addressed the assembly. Rev.Fr.joseph Ottaplackal, Secretary infam presided over the meeting. Rev.Fr.Varghese Vallikkat, KCBC, Deputy Secretary General, Rev.Fr.Antony kozhuvanal, P.C. Cyriac, Dr.M.C.George, Mr.K.Moytheen Hagi, P.C.Joseph Ex MLA, P.C.Thomas Ex MP, T.K Jose. V.C.Sebastian, V.V.Augustine addressed the assembly.

Rev.Fr.Jose Kottayil, secretary Family Commission, Rev.Fr.Jolly Vadakkan, Prof.C.C.Alicecutty, Mary Maleparambil also addressed the audience.

KCBC President, His Beatitude Moran Mor Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Catholicos Presided over. His Grace, Archbishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam,His Grace, Most.Rev.Dr.Francis Kallarackal, His Excellency, Rt.Rev.Dr.Joseph Kariyil, Mar Pauli Kannookadan, Rev.Fr.Varghese Vallikkat,Rev.Fr. Thomas Mangakunnel, president KCMS were present. In this meeting CMI General and CMC general and selected members were special invitees.

Social Harmony and Vigilance Commission of K.C.B.C. conducted Two Days seminar for P.R.O.'s of women Religious on 12-13th of September 2014. His Excellency, Dr.Samuel Mar Irenios inaugurated the seminar. Rev.Fr.Varghese Vallikkat, Deputy Secretary General of K.C.B.C. presided over the meeting. A workshop on the labour Laws was conducted in POC by the Education Commission on 9-10th of September in association with the Kerela Catholic Teachers Guild. The inaugural function was presided over by Rev.Fr.Varghese Vallikkat, Deputy Secretary General of POC and Inaugurated by the honorable Justice C.K. Abdul Raheem. Rev.Fr.Jacob Palakkapally, Guild State Director, Mr.Salu Pathalil, Mr.M.L.Xavier also adresssed the Gathering.
