We are proud to have honoured the last Maharaja of Cochin, His Highness Rama Varma Pareeksh*th Thampuran, of blessed memory, who always stood by the Jewish people, with a golden plaque in association with the Jewish American Society for Historic Preservation and Mr. Kenneth X. Robbins. The plaque was designed by our patron Mr. Thapan Dubayehudi and was erected at the Hill Palace Museum in Kerala, India.

The Grand Thanksgiving Event at the Kadavumbagam Synagogue of Ernakulam (est. 1200 CE), being inaugurated by the American Consul General to India, Chris Hodges, Swamiji Sri Hariprasad, Rabbi Abraham Cooper (Associate Dean, Simon Wiesenthal Foundation), Brigitte Chataignier (internationally acclaimed Mohini Attam dancer and peace ambassador) and author and scholar Kenneth X Robbins. The event honoured all people who contributed to the restoration of the synagogue from all major religions.
