Durga Mandir,Golebazar, Kharagpur (Estd.1925) Golbazar Durga Mandir. Kharagpur also known as The Temple by SER Hello, very welcome to the community of Golebazar Durga Mandir.

The temple was established in early British age when the South Eastern Railway just begun there project over here. One of the employees of Railway, Late Rajanikanta Babu was established along with some other colleagues at that time. It is a common platform which was basically formed to bind the all bengali speaking person together. Also, along with them so many other non-bengali people were connec

ted later on. The "Bengali club" is formed under the governance of Mandir authority then. Shri Shri Durga Temple is very much popular to everybody and people believe that the Holy mother is always listening the prayers of them. I do believe that She is present all the time to give releif to Her children from pain (Traya Tapa). In the Mandir now presently, three main Temples are there :-

1) Shri Shri Dakhsina Kalika Mata temple
2) Shri Shri Durga Mata temple
3) Shri Shri Shiva temple

Along with Goddess Kalika, many other idols are worshipped in daily basis. They are: - Shri Shri Narayan Sila, Shri Shri Shaligram Sila, Shri Shri Radha Krishna, Shri Shri Gopal, Shri Shri Bagala Mata and some other respected idols.
