्पित मुख्य पवित्रतम हिन्दू मंदिरों में से एक है, जो भारत केेे जम्मू और कश्मीर के जम्मू सम्भाग में त्रिकुट पर्वत पर स्थित है। इस धार्मिक स्थल की आराध्य देवी, वैष्णो देवी को सामान्यतः माता रानी, वैष्णवी, दुर्गा तथा शेरावाली माता जैसे अनेक नामो से भी जाना जाता है। यहा पर आदिशक्ति स्वरूप महालक्ष्मी, महाकाली तथा महासरस्वती पिंडी रूप मे त्रेता युग से एक गुफा मे विराजमान है और माता वैष्णो देवी स्वयं यहां पर अपने शाश्वत निराकार रूप मे विराजमान है।
