Devotees must be required to register themselves for pilgrimage via official website - https://www.maavaishnodevi.org/ only to ensure mass gathering of people is avoided at the yatra registration counters, which could lead to the spread of COVID-19.

To ease the travel and stay of pilgrims, accommodation facilities at Katra, the Bhawan, Ardhkuwari and Jammu are available. These facilities have been reportedly following all the SOPs prescribed for COVID-19.

Further, other facilities, such as helicopter services, passenger ropeway, and battery-powered vehicles have also been set up by the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to facilitate travel of visitors during the yatra. These services have also been ordered to follow all the adequate social distancing norms and COVID-19 guidelines.
