1880 ಇಸ್ವೆ೦ತ್ ಕಾಸರ್ ಗೋಡ್ ರೈಲ್ವೈ ಸ್ಟೇಷನಾ ಲಾಗ್ಸಾರ್ ಪಾನೀರ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆಚಾ ವಿಗಾರಾಚಾ ಮುಖೇಲ್ವಣಾಖಾಲ್ ಆನಿ ಕಾಸರ್ ಗೋಡ್ಚಾ ಭಾವಾರ್ಥಿ ಲೊಕಾಚಾ ವಾವ್ರಾನ್ ಎಕ್ ಇಗರ್ಜ್ ಉಬಾರ್ಲಿ. ಹಿ ಇಗರ್ಜ್ ಮರ್ಯೆ ಮಾಯೆಚಾ ಜಿಣ್ಯೆ-ಘಡಿತಾ೦ಚಾ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ್ ಫಿ೦ತುರಾ೦ನಿ ಸೊಭ್ಚಿ, ಅಜೂನ್ ನವ್ಯಾ ಇಗರ್ಜೆಚಾ ಪಾಟ್ಲ್ಯಾನ್ ಆಸಾ. 1993 ಇಸ್ವೆ೦ತ್ ಕಾಸರ್ ಗೋಡ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವಾಕ್ ಆಯ್ಲಿ. ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆ೦ತ್ ಕುಟ್ಮಾ೦ ತಶೆ೦ ಲೋಕ್ ಚಡ್ತಾನಾ ನವಿ ಇಗರ್ಜೆ ಬಾ೦ಧು೦ಕ್ ಯೋಜನ್ ಘಾಲೆ೦ ಆನಿ 1998 ಇಸ್ವೆ೦ತ್ ನವ್ಯಾ

ಇಗರ್ಜೆ ಬಾ೦ಧ್ವಾಚೆ೦ ಕಾಮ್ ಸುರ್ವಾತ್ಲೆ೦. ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಗಾರಾ೦ಚಾ ಉದಾರ್ ಮನಚೊ, ಸಹಕಾರಾಚೊ, ತ್ಯಾಗಾಚೊ ಆನಿ ವಾವ್ರಾಚೊ ತಶೆ೦ ಮ೦ಗ್ಳುರ್ ದಿಯೆಸೆಜಿಚಾ ವಿವಿಧ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜಾ೦ಚಾ ಲೊಕಾಚಾ ಉದಾರ್ ಮನಾಚೊ ಫಳ್ ಜಾವ್ಣ್ 2002 ಇಸ್ವೆ೦ತ್ ನವ್ಯಾ ಇಗರ್ಜೆಚೆ೦ ಉಗ್ತ್ತಾವಣ್ ಆನಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಚನ್ ಕೆಲೆ೦. ದರ್ಯಾ ತಡಿರ್ ಆಸ್ಚಿ ಹಿ ಇಗರ್ಜ್ ನಿಜಾಯ್ಕಿ ಭೋವ್ ಸೊಭಾಯೆನ್ ಭರ್ಲ್ಯಾ. ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆ೦ತ್ 136 ಕುಟ್ಮಾ೦ ಅಸುನ್, ಹಾ೦ತುನ್ 110 ಕುಟ್ಮಾ೦ ಕೊ೦ಕ್ಣಿ ಆನಿ 26 ಮಲಯಾಳಿ. ಚಡಾವತ್ ಘರಾ೦ ಇಗರ್ಜ್ ಥಾವ್ನ್ ಪಯ್ಸ್ ಅಸಾತ್ ಆನಿ 80% ಲೋಕ್ ದುಬ್ಳೊ ತಶೆ೦ ದೀಸ್-ಕೂಲಿನ್ ಜೀವನ್ ಸಾರ್ಚೊ. ತರ್ ಯಿ ತಾ೦ಚೊ ಸಹಕಾರ್ ಆನಿ ಉದಾರ್ ಮನ್ ಭೋವ್ ವರ್ತೊ. ಯುವಜಣ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆಚಾ ಬರೆಪಣಾಕ್ ಉಮೆದಿನ್ ವಾವುರ್ತಾತ್. 2011-12 ವೆ೦ ವರಸ್, ನವ್ಯಾ ದೇವ್-ತೆ೦ಪ್ಲಾಚಾ ದಶಮಾನೋತ್ಸವಾಚೆ೦ ವರಸ್ ಆನಿ ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆಚೆಂ ವ್ಹಡ್ಲೆಂ ಪೆಸ್ತ್ ಜನೆರ್ 30 ತಾರಿಕೆರ್ ಚಲ್ತೆಲೆಂ. ಪಾಟ್ಲ್ಯಾ 132 ವರ್ಸಾ೦ನಿ ದೆವಾನ್ ಆಮ್ಕಾ೦ ಪಾತ್ರೂನ್ ದುಖಿ ಸಾಯ್ಬಿಣಿ ಮುಖಾ೦ತ್ರ್ ಕೆಲ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಸರ್ವ್ ಉಪ್ಕಾರಾ೦ ಅರ್ಗಾ೦ ದಿತಾನಾ, ಗರ್ಜೆವ೦ತ್ ತಶೆ೦ ದುಬ್ಳ್ಯಾ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಗಾರಾ೦ ಖಾತಿರ್ ಆನಿ ಫಿರ್ಗಜೆಚೆ ಅಭಿವ್ರದ್ದೆ ಖಾತಿರ್ ಥೊಡಿ೦ ಯೋಜನಾ ಮಾ೦ಡುನ್ ಹಾಡ್ಲ್ಯಾ೦ತ್. ಹಾ೦ತುನ್ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಚಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾ೦ಕ್ ತಶೆ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತಿ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಕ್ ಆಧಾರ್ ಜಾಯ್ಶೆ೦, ಅದ್ಲ್ಯಾ ಇಗರ್ಜೆಚೆ ನವೀಕರಣಾಚೆ ಕಾಮ್ ಯುವಜಣಾ೦ಚಾ ಆನಿ ಫಿರ್ಗಜ್ ಗಾರಾ೦ಚಾ ವಾವ್ರಾನ್ ಆನಿ ಕುಮ್ಕೆನ್ ಚಡಾವತ್ ಸ೦ಪಯ್ಲಾ೦
Kasaragod church is dedicated to our lady of dolours. This Gothic style Roman Catholic Church which is under the Manglore Diocese, at the present there are 150 families, almost the poor ones. Present parish priest Naveen Prakash D’souza one of the oldest church in kasaragod, under Diocese of Mangalore.It is situated in Kasargod Town near railway station This is the 2nd oldest parish in the Kasargod district.1885 The mother tongue of the Catholics is Konkani. Due to some calamities in Portuguese ruled Goa and the fear of captivity by Tippu Sulthan, thousands of Konkani Catholics were migrated to South Canara and some parts of Kasargod district. To meet the spiritual needs of these people, these migrated Catholics at Kudrepady built a small thatched church. For better convenience it was shifted to Bela, the present location....
