Orchestration was done by our 'Chamundiyamma'...! All worked hard to see that 'kalashattu' and 'kaliyattam' gets over nicely nd peacefully. The energy nd excitement can't b explained! Many of us slept in the temple premises during the festival days ....leaving all luxuries! None had a complaint. As if children enjoy the warmth of the mother, you could see even very senior members happily sleeping on floors Inspite of xtreme cold weather.
2 days before the 'prathishta', a wild elephant had come right in front of the temple(down below) as if to seek the blessing of amma.
Senior member of 'kaarisseri' mana Shri Mahadevan Namboodiri 's arrival made all of us thrilled nd he wholeheartedly blessed all of us.we had a pleasant surprise when we saw his contributions t to the 'kalavara'..
The highlight is the presence of 'sacred serpant' just before 'naagaprathishta'.we were all astonished to see a snake coming inside the temple from nowhere! That even on daylight when hundreds r thronging around ! Karnataka forest official who was present confirmed that it was a young king cobra!(we'll post the photos)
Prathishta nd kaliyaattam went on very well.we think more than 10000 people visited the place during d festival days..
A light shower during the 10 minutes of 'vilakkilari' proved the sanctity nd auspiciousness of rituals !
On behalf of d committee ,congratulate the entire team and thank everyone especially the people of Panathur for making it a once in a lifetime event....
