Ubrangalatemple - "Ubrangala Shri Mahadeva Parvathi Shri Shasthara Temple"

Lokarpana of brass-plated 18 steps of Ubrangala Shri Mahadeva Parvathi Shri Shasthara Temple is scheduled to take place on May 11th, 2026, Monday at 5:00 p.m.

This holy ceremony will be graced and blessed by his holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shri Shri Vidhushekara Bharathi Sannidangal of Dakshinamnaya Shri Sharada Peetam Sringeri and Shri Shri Sachidananda Bharathi Swamiji of Shri Edneer Mahasamsthanam. The ceremonies will be performed by Kshethracharya Brahmashri Delampady Ganesh Tantry, in the august presence of Brahmashri Kuntar Ravish Tantry.

Shri Narayana Varma of Pandalam Kottara, Shabarimala, will grace the occasion. The other dignitaries on the occasion will be Shri Nagandra Bharadwaj, Kshetra astrologer, and Smt. Talippady Jahnavi Shastry, the principal donor for the step`s bronze plate covering.

At 5 PM, the program will begin with Dharmic Sabha.

At 6.30 PM - 18 steps Dwara Pooja will be performed.

At 8 PM - Kshetra Utsavam will happen.

The ceremonies will take place with the glitter of accompaniment of 101 Chende Vadyam (drums).

Bhojana prasadam will be served to all devotees.

The famed 18 steps of Ubrangala Shri Mahadeva Parvathi Shri Shasthara temple were rebuilt and the work was completed on 29.10.2022.
The Ubrangala temple will be celebrating Brahmakalashotsavam from 25th December, 2022 to 2nd January, 2023. This will be followed by the temple festival from the 3rd to the 5th of January 2023.

The famed 18 steps of Ubrangala Shri Mahadeva Parvathi Shri Shasthara temple, which was rebuilt in 1982 during earlier Brahmakalasha were dismantled last month during Nadappura reconstruction.
