Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia, Kargil-Ladakh is a socio-religious institution in Kargil-Ladakh catering mainly to the socio-religious needs of the region. It has jurisdiction over Ulamas of the region and deputes them to villages where they guide people in religious matters, run Madrasas and works as prayer monitors. About

Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh is the leading Shia Religious organization of Ladakh and oldest body of Religious leaders, mainly Ághas and Sheikhs, to be established in the region. The population of the region is mainly Shia Muslim therefore a need for an institution to look over and into the religious matters of the masses was felt and Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh was established. Elections for the executive body were held on 11 September, 2021 and Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi was re-elected as the president for the second time. Subsidiary Organs

1: Ulama Council: It is the chief body of Shia clerics in the district.

2: The institution's sub organ Hawza-e-Ilmiyah Isna Asharia', Kargil is affiliated with the Al-Mustafa International University Qom. It provides religious education to a selected number of students and prepares them for higher religious studies.

3: Jamiat ul Ulama Mashhad office Islamic Republic of Iran, branch of Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh.

4: Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education is a prominent higher secondary school of the region.

5: Makatib e Isna Asharia (Daar ul Quran ) governs and provides Quranic education in seminaries in many villages.

6: Jawadiah Project CARE : It is an educational project to support a selected number of students from poor financial backgrounds and to groom them for various competitive exams.

7: Az-Zahra Girls Orphanage is run by the Jamiat ul Ulama Isna Asharia catering to the orphans of the region.

8: Haye"te Fatimiyah is the women's wing.

9: Isna Asharia Network formally known as Media Cell ISK: It takes care of all the issues pertaining to public and media relations.

11: Shoba e Adab, Poetry and Publishing wing founded by the renowned writers and Poets of the district.

The newly appointed Chairman of the Haj Committee Ladakh, Ghulam Abbas Abidi, along with the newly appointed committee members from Kargil and Leh, called on the General Secretary and members of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on various matters related to Haj affairs and arrangements. The interaction reflected a spirit of cooperation, mutual understanding, and collective commitment towards ensuring better facilities and guidance for the pilgrims of the region.

The General Secretary and Markazi Imam Jumma Kargil Hojjat-ul-Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili extended heartfelt congratulations to Ghulam Abbas Abidi on his appointment and expressed hope that under his leadership, the Haj Committee Ladakh will utilize its full potential in serving the Muslim community of the region and addressing all matters related to Haj with dedication and sincerity.

On the occasion, Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil strongly urged for the early construction of a Haj House in Kargil. Responding positively, Chairman Ghulam Abbas Abidi assured that the demand would be fulfilled at the earliest. It was also informed that the Hill Council Kargil has agreed to provide land for the construction of the Haj House — which will be a significant and much-awaited step towards facilitating the pilgrims of the region.

Today at around 5:30 PM, information was received regarding a dead body being spotted in the Suru River. Soon after receiving the information, volunteers of Al Mehdi A.S Scouts JUIAKL reached the spot without delay and immediately started the recovery operation.
With timely response, dedication, and coordinated efforts, the volunteers successfully recovered the dead body from the river and later handed it over to the police authorities for further legal formalities.
Al Mehdi A.S Scouts JUIAKL appreciates the courage and humanitarian service of all volunteers who participated in the operation.

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

It is with profound sorrow and deep grief that we announce the demise of Abdul Hamid Ruby, a pioneering figure of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil–Ladakh in the field of media and communication, and the Founder of the Media Cell ISK, later developed into the Isna Asharia Network.
After a prolonged illness of two months, during which he remained hospitalized in Mumbai and later in Srinagar, he passed away today.
He rendered invaluable services in strengthening the media presence of Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia, dedicating his life to conveying the message, teachings, and values of the Ahlulbayt (AS) to the community. His vision, sincerity, and unwavering commitment have left behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire generations.
His demise is a profound loss to the Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil, and the wider community, which has lost a devoted servant and a true advocate of the path of Ahlulbayt (AS).
We extend our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and all those affected by this loss. May Almighty Allah grant him the highest درجات in Jannah and bestow patience and strength upon all in this time of immense grief.

Al Mehdi (A.S) Scouts JUIAKL Successfully Concludes First Phase of Physical Training for Ladakh Police Aspirants

Al Mehdi (A.S) Scouts JUIAKL proudly announces the successful completion of the first phase of physical training for aspiring candidates preparing for Ladakh Police Sub-Inspector (SI) and Constable recruitment.

The initial phase, which spanned 13 days, witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of 230 aspirants, including 134 boys and 96 girls. This strong turnout reflects the growing dedication and determination among the youth to serve in the police force.

During the training program, candidates were rigorously guided through essential physical activities required for selection, including:

- 1.6 km running
- Long jump
- High jump
- Shot put throw
- Push-ups and other fitness drills

The training sessions focused not only on improving physical endurance and strength but also on building discipline, confidence, and a spirit of teamwork among participants.

The organizers expressed their appreciation for the commitment shown by all aspirants and encouraged them to continue working hard with consistency and determination. Special emphasis was placed on maintaining both physical fitness and mental resilience throughout their preparation journey.

Al Mehdi (A.S) Scouts JUIAKL reaffirmed its commitment to supporting and guiding the youth, highlighting that this initiative is just the beginning of a larger mission to empower candidates and help them achieve their goals.

The organization looks forward to continuing such training programs and contributing positively to the future of aspiring candidates.
