JUIAK Ladakh Organises Grand Tiranga Yatra in Kargil

Jamiat-ul-Ulama Isna Asharia Kargil-Ladakh (JUIAK) organised a grand “Tiranga Yatra – Istehkam-e-Hindustan Rally” in Kargil today, with enthusiastic.
The Tiranga Yatra commenced from Isna Asharia Chowk, Kargil, and passed through the Main Bazaar, Lal Chowk and Circular Road, crossing Fatima Chowk, before concluding at Isna Asharia Chowk. A large number of people joined the procession at different points along the route, adding to the enthusiasm and scale of the rally.
Participants carried the National Flag and raised patriotic slogans, conveying a strong message of national unity, patriotism, communal harmony, and commitment to the unity and integrity of the country.
The Yatra was led by President JUIAK Ladakh, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi, who was joined by executive members of JUIAK and members of the Ulama Council, Kargil.
Addressing the gathering, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi said that the country and the National Flag are dearer to them than life itself. He said countless sacrifices had been made for the freedom of the country and for the honour of the Tricolour, and that it is the responsibility of the present generation to remember and honour those sacrifices.
He said the Tiranga Yatra was organised ahead of Independence Day to express love, respect and commitment towards the country and the National Flag. Remembering the sacrifices made by the people of Kargil, soldiers, and citizens across the country for India's freedom, he said the rally was a tribute to all those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
Calling upon both the younger generation and elders to respect and safeguard the Tricolour, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi said that everyone must remain committed to keeping the National Flag held high. He emphasised that, if requiredpeople should be ready to make sacrifices for the honour and dignity of the National Flag.
He further highlighted India's democratic system as one of the country's greatest strengths and said that the freedom and democracy enjoyed by the people must be preserved collectively. He stressed that safeguarding the Tricolour is also a symbol of safeguarding the nation, its unity, integrity and democratic values.
He said that the people of Kargil have a deep sense of love and commitment towards the country and have historically made significant sacrifices for the nation. He called upon everyone to further strengthen the bonds of unity, harmony and brotherhood and uphold the values represented by the National Flag.
Concluding his address with a patriotic message, Sheikh Nazir Mehdi Mohammadi recited:
“Aye Khak-e-Watan, Hum Tujhe Ruswa Na Karenge.”
The Tiranga Yatra concluded peacefully at Isna Asharia Chowk, with participants reaffirming their commitment to the nation, the National Flag, unity, democracy and the spirit of patriotism.
