Remembering Australian Missionary Graham Staines and Family.
Graham Staines (1941–1999) was an Australian missionary who dedicated 34 years of his life to serving leprosy patients and tribal communities in Odisha, India. Alongside his young sons, Philip and Timothy, he was tragically killed in January 1999 in an act of communal violence. Despite the immense tragedy, his widow, Gladys Staines, moved the world by publicly forgiving the perpetrators and continuing their humanitarian work. Today, his legacy remains a powerful symbol of selfless service, compassion, and the enduring strength of forgiveness. 🕊️✨
