Located at Venduttayi near pinarayi, in Kannur district of kerala, the southern state of India, This temple can boast of its tradition of about four thousand years of glorious past. But later with the passage of time it is believed that this temple was destroyed either by natural calamities or by subversive forces. Fortunately to say, last decade witnessed this temple’s complete renovation and Sri Chemmanasseryi Mahadevan is now back on his golden days.
