Khadija Beevi (R)

Continuation (Part 3)

It was around this time that various forms of immorality were widespread in society. During that period, Khadija (R) heard about a young man whom the people of Makkah called Al-Ameen because of his trustworthiness and honesty.
Believing that this young man could bring success and profit to her trade, she contacted Abu Talib and decided to send Al-Ameen (ﷺ) to Syria for the first time to lead her trading caravan.
The trading caravan led by Al-Ameen (ﷺ) returned with great profit. As previously agreed, Khadija (R) paid him his due share, and Al-Ameen (ﷺ) then returned home.
Maysarah, the servant of Khadija (R), told her that Al-Ameen (ﷺ) conducted his business with complete honesty. He never hid any defects in the goods he sold. In fact, he clearly informed buyers about any shortcomings in the merchandise, yet people eagerly purchased goods from him because of his integrity and trustworthiness.

Khadija Beevi (R)

Continuation (Part 2)

Khadija(R)was the daughter of Khuwaylid and Fatima from the noble Quraysh family. She was raised as a highly respected and honorable woman. From a young age, she showed a sincere concern for relieving the hardships of people, and her compassion was pure and sincere.

She initially began engaging in trade alongside her father. Later, she took full responsibility for the business herself and managed it successfully. Through this trade, she became one of the most prominent and wealthy figures in Makkah.
Khadija (R)was first married to Abu Hala. After his death (from this marriage she had two children), she married Atiq ibn Abid, and from this marriage she had one child. After the death of her second husband, many people sought to marry Khadija, as she was both a wealthy and beautiful woman of Makkah. However, being deeply devoted to her trade and responsibilities, she declined all such proposals.

Her method of conducting trade was to send trustworthy men on trading journeys to distant lands from Makkah. Her servant Maisarah would accompany them. If any dishonesty or irregularity occurred in the trade, it was his duty to inform Khadija(R). He fulfilled this responsibility faithfully and efficiently.

Khadija Bivi (R)

(Part 1)

Khadija bint Khuwaylid was the first wife of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) and a great woman who profoundly influenced his life.
She was the first person to accept Islam as revealed to the Noble Prophet (ﷺ).
Allah bestowed half of the beauty of the world upon the Noble Prophet (ﷺ).
It was Khadija Bivi (R) who was blessed with the rare honor of being the first woman in the world to accept the energetic and noble Muhammad (ﷺ), then twenty-five years old, as her husband.
She was a precious gem among women who spent her wealth, trade, and resources entirely for the sake of the religion, forgetting to keep anything for herself.
At a time when the Prophet and Islam were facing every kind of hardship—financial, emotional, and social—the strength of Islam stood firm through her willpower, moral support, and complete devotion.
Therefore, she was an indispensable chapter in the social and personal life of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ).
