The hill has never been used for farming nor for any other land purposes as it’s the sole source of water for the small valley on top of the mountain ranges. Carmel mount, can also be a trekking destination for both trekking enthusiasts and general public as its offering an easy halfway where the pilgrimage ends and a hard way up to the top of the hill, requiring the spirits of a mountaineering enthusiast.
