Chandera Gramathappan Mahavishnu Temple is one of the Ancient temples in North Malabar Region. The temple is located on a serene calm place which is almost on the central part of Chandera West. The temple was ruined by Tippu Sulthan at the time of Tippu's Era and it was renewed on 2007. Other idols are Lord Ganesha and Lord Sastha (Avathar of Lord Ayyappa).
