Established in 1960 by notable Birla Group from India, the Laxminarayan Mandir (Hindi: श्री लक्ष्मीनारायण मन्दिर) is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Laxminarayan in Madanpur, Nadia, West Bengal. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi. The main temple houses statues of Lord Narayan and Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. There is also another small shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva adjacent to the main mandir.
