Brief introduction of speaker of Sunday class:

HG Rasika Shiromani Das - Professor Rambhau Badode,MA,PhD(English Literature) Senior devotee of Thane Iskcon congregation Doing Seva at both the ISKCON temples in Thane as Pujari and Raj bhog cooking seva. He is Course Coordinator of Rupanuga Vidyapith Pandharpur for Marathi courses. Teaching Bhakti Shastri Courses - Bhagwad Gita. Retired as Professor and Head, from Department of English, University of Mumbai in 2015, Principal of the Saraf College,Malad , Director of Garware Institute of Skill Development of UoM, Director of Confucius Institute of Mandrin -Chineese Language of UoM.
He has guided 21 students for their PhD degrees in English.

Visits Abroad:
1)He was invited by the US Government to participate in the International Project of American Studies at Washington DC in 2000,
2)He was invited by the University of North Carolina, Ashville,USA, German University and University of London to teach American and Indian literatures.

Awards Won:
1)Received the Vice -Chancellor's Performance Based Incentive Award at the hands of the Governor of Maharashtra and Chancellor of the UoM
2)Prof GS Rao Memorial award as an Outstanding Teacher of English.
3)Lokmat National Education Leadership Award
